Growing up with the character from Norse mythology - his actions, personality, etc. means *a lot* to me, personally. It's like he's become my brother, as well as my favorite character in all-time mythology.
Needless to say, I sobbed hard enough at the end of 'Thor.' I mean, really. Did you just fashion a tragic ending for my favorite character? I think you did, Marvel. I dislike you, Marvel.
Anywho - his reappearance in 'The Avengers' made me dance around the room. I admit, I was disappointed to see how cold he was to the world: but he's there, and that's what counts. I won't just be watching people fly around smashing things.

... I'm ashamed to say that i didn't know of this 'Loki' until after i saw the Avengers (although, my friends were talking about the scene where Loki got smashed by the Hulk. Truthfully, i just wanted to know who exactly this 'Loki' character was. I pictured him to be a small, little green man... with issues (don't ask me why)). Boy was i shocked when i saw how talk the guy was... and how human he looked (not alien looking). However, i was correct about 1 part- GREEN.
