CHAPTER 5



Michael waited at the steps of the house.
Two hours past and jet nothing happened still.
Another saa added on to that and he started to get worried. “What if something happened to her?”He asked himself “What if something Skulduggery Pleasant killed her?”Michael thought a lot to himself. He started to pace, “No, of course not, she’s fine. Just running a bit late,” He alisema to himself, “But I’m going to phone her anyway. Just to make sure.” He raced into the house and grabbed the phone. He dialled the number and in the sekunde ring she answered, “This is a bad time!” she yelled.
“Where are you!?” Michael asked impatiently. Then all of a sudden Michael heard a loud bang that came from the phone.
“Alex. Alex are wewe okay!?” Michael yelled into the phone.
“I’m fine don’t worry about it,” she whispered
“What was that?” he asked confused, then another bang went off,
And the phone cut. He slammed the phone down and started to weep.............................................................
After a few hours the phone rang and Michael picked it up immediately.
‘Hey.’ She alisema no louder than a whisper it was course and rough.
“Alex wewe don’t sound to good is everything okay?” Michael asked
“YIP, doesn’t worry I’m fine just a sore.” She assured him
“You sure, what was that noise?” He asked
“Well I suppose wewe will eventually find out, I might as well tell you.” She stated
“What are wewe talking about?” He asked confused
“I was shot, but don’t worry I’m fine now!” she alisema between coughs
“Alex wewe were shot, how can wewe be fine?” Michael questioned
“I’d upendo to answer that question; it’s just Kenspeckle would like to speak to you. She stated

“Michael.......”
“Is she going fine?” Michael alisema interrupting him.
“Don’t talks just listen?” Kenspeckle commanded
“But ...............” Michael stuttered
“I alisema don’t talk.” His voice stern and firm”
“Diamond is fine after all i am the greatest medical scientist this world will ever know, well getting to the point if wewe wish to see her I will send someone to fetch you.” Kenspeckle exclaimed
“Yes I would like to see Alex.” Michael whispered
“Very well, send someone to fetch you,”
Goodbye now. He alisema and hung up

He stood up and gracefully walked outside to go wait for whoever Kenspeckle sent to pick him up, after a few dakika past a 1954 Bentley came up the driveway and reared it in the parking. A tall gentleman in a pin striped suit and a fedora to match stepped out of the car, it was only after he turned to face me that I recognised him it was skulduggery pleasant......

“What did u do to her?” He accused.
“NOTHING, I have done nothing to her and wish for the conversation to end and if I don’t get what I want. I’ll become your worst nightmare understand”.
Michael nodded his head and sat down on the stairs and after a few dakika Drew appeared inayofuata to Skulduggery
“Ready to go?” He asked
“Yes sp replied walking towards Michael with Drew following him
When he was a few feet away Michael

“Take his hand and hold on tight skulduggery instructed.
He did as he was told, Skulduggery placed his hand on Drew’s shoulder and in a flash they were outside on abandon movie theatre

“Where are we?” Michael Asked
“Ireland, Dublin to be exact.” Stated
“England Michael!” yelled
“Yes, come on then he alisema walking into the cinema Michael followed him they went into the cinema down then went into the cinema stairs through the screen, down the hallway and into the main room in the medical bay. As soon as he spotted Alex he ran to her.
“Are wewe okay?” He asked
“Yes I’m fine, she alisema sounding much better
“You almost gave me a moyo attack” Michael whispered
“Well at least it was almost a moyo attack and not a moyo attack, she exclaimed
“True, but don’t scare me like that again.” He spoke in hush tone.
“You’re coming home. Right?” he asked

“Properly not...............we have a meeting at the sanctuary. She explained
“But wewe where shoot, can’t they give wewe a break?” he asked
Oh and who’s diamond?” He questioned me.
“Me, how can wewe not know you’re only daughters taken name.....?
It’s sad really.” she stated.
“Never mind that...so what have wewe been up to?”
“Nothing just contemplating, whether au not I should tell wewe my amazing idea au not.” she said
“And!” Michael motioned for her to continue.
“Well it’s not that important anymore.” she stuttered
“Alex....Diamond moyo whatever wewe want to be called, it’s important to you...............!”
“B...u.....t....”
“Just listen.” he alisema cutting her off
“Fine!”She said.
“Then it’s important to me and don’t lie I can tell it’s important!” Michael stated.
“And how exactly do wewe do that?” Alex asked
“It’s a father’s instinct!” Michael boosted
“You’ve only been my father for + - 2 days and I’ll tell wewe when we go home.”
“So when do wewe get to come home?” Michael asked
“Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh you’ll have to ask skulduggery about that.”
“What do wewe have to ask me?” Skulduggery alisema walking towards them
“When can she come home?” Michael asked
“Now”
“What about the meeting?” Alex asked
“ohh it’s cancelled I’ll take wewe back now”

And the y left for never land
