Prologue:
The mwaka is 2000 and Michael has been thinking up some new songs. He has decided to go to the recording studio and do some demos...
It was just another siku in the life of an artist for Michael. He had recorded new ideas for songs on a tape recorder and has decided to transfer them from the tape to the studio. He loved making music. And he knew the mashabiki loved it too. But he still felt as though he was missing something in his life. Like there was a hole in his moyo that only that missing thing could fill. He just couldn’t kubeba this feeling... one of loneliness. The closest woman he’d last been with was his ex-wife Lisa. He had loved her to bits and didn’t feel as though he was ready to songesha on. At least that’s what he initially thought.
As he was recording his new song, “You Rock my World,” with Chris Tucker, he seemed... unfocused. Matt, who was helping them record the song, could tell Michael wasn’t feeling all that well and suggested they take a break. At that moment, Chris turned to Michael with a look that meant the same as what he said...
“What’s wrong with wewe Mike? wewe seem so down lately,”
“It’s nothin’ Chris, really,” Michael alisema as he sat on the floor.
“Mike shamone! If it WAS nothing, we’d be done in here kwa now,”
“It’s just that... well this may sound ridiculous but I just feel... lonely, wewe know. “Lisa?” Chris said, cutting him off.

“I don’t know man, I mean, what if she does the same thing to me? I can’t kubeba to upendo and lose again...”
... Meanwhile, in another part of the building...
“Brooke, I need wewe to do a favour for me,”
“Yes Dad... I mean, Sir?”
“I need wewe to go to studio 7 today first, instead of your usual routine... and make certain wewe do,”
“Should I know why I need to go to number 7 first?”
“Let’s just say... Matt’s working with someone in there at the moment and it’s essential that they are kept in a good frame of mind.”
“Okay, I’m on my way.” Brooke said. She knew better than to swali her father too much. But why number 7 first, she thought...
