Katie had come kwa and picked Janelle up to have some fun at the mall. Elizabeth had to be sure that she didn't forget anything, being the protective aunt that she was.
"Got everything, Janelle?" She asked.
"Yes, Aunt Liz. I got everything." Janelle said.
"Good. Now go have fun. We'll be alright."
"Alright, Aunt Liz." Then she looked at Coraline. "Be good, okay?"
"I will, mommy!" She said, giggling a little.
Janelle kissed her head and soon headed out with Katie to the mall. Once they left, Aunt Liz took Coraline's hand and got her in the back of the car and Kenan started driving them out of the area. She took out a card and looked at it and wondered what her friend would write for Janelle. Kenan was driving them to a certain famous person's house. (Me: Yeah, guess who? Pretty obvious lol.)
"Great Aunt Liz, wewe didn't get him to sign the card yet?" Coraline asked.
Elizabeth looked at her and shook her head. "He was busy recording when I asked him." She said.
"Does he know mommy?"
"He only knows a little bit from what I've told him."
"Does he know that I'm her little girl?"
"I didn't tell him that. I think your mommy should tell him about wewe if and when they get to meet."
Coraline nodded and looked out the window and saw a driver drive someone into a mitaani, mtaa of a house. She looked and then saw someone get out of the car. Kenan parked kwa the mitaani, mtaa and Coraline saw a man with kinda short-medium length curly black hair walking toward their car. Coraline looked at Elizabeth, a little confused.
"Who's that?"
Elizabeth smiled and rolled down the window to see the man. He smiled and giggled a little.
"A little unexpected visit, huh, Elizabeth?" He asked.
"Sorry if it's a late notice, Michael."
He giggled. "No trouble at all, Elizabeth." He looked at Coraline and smiled, holding out his hand to her. "Why hello there. I'm Michael Jackson. What's your name?"
Coraline dropped her jaw a little and she shook his hand with her little one. "I-I'm Coraline."
"Hello, Coraline. How old are you?"
"I'm 4."
"4? wewe don't look like you're 4." He giggled. "You look like you're 5 au 6." He let her hand go and looked at Elizabeth. "Well, what brings wewe two here, Liz?"
Elizabeth took out a card and showed it to Michael. "I'm gonna need wewe to sign this, Michael. I did tell wewe that my niece, Janelle, is turning 21 today, right?"
"Oh yeah! Hand it here. I'll leave something special for her."
Elizabeth handed Michael the card and a pen. He wrote a note on one side of the card and then, once he finished uandishi the note, he signed it with his signature autograph. He handed it back to Elizabeth and she took it.
"Thank you, Michael. She'll upendo it."
"Is she gonna do anything for her party, Liz?"
"She alisema that she was gonna have a super soaker/water balloon fight."
Michael snapped his fingers. "God, I hate having to work almost the whole night. I would've loved to jiunge in on it if I wasn't working."
Elizabeth giggled a little. "I know wewe would've, Michael. Well, we gotta get going. We have to set up before Janelle gets back nyumbani with Katie."
"Alright. Thanks for stopping by, Liz." He looked at Coraline and smiled, putting his hand on her head. "Nice to have met you, Coraline."
She giggled. "Nice to have met you, too, Michael Jackson."
He took his hand off of her head and waved at them while they drove off. Coraline was excited to have met Michael Jackson in person...but she also had felt a little guilty because her mother didn't get to meet him. Although, she was lucky enough for one thing. Coraline took the card and read the note he wrote for her mother. She was lucky enough to get an autograph...and a birthday note from him. At that point, she started counting down the days to her own birthday. She really wanted to invite Michael to her party.
They soon got nyumbani and they started setting up for Janelle's 21st birthday party. Elizabeth hid the card in a place where she knows Janelle could never find it. That was gonna be a special surprise for her...for later that night.
With Janelle and Katie
Katie kept taking Janelle from store to store, beauty duka to beauty shop, just about everywhere. She, when it came to surprise parties (Me: and Janelle was getting one that day), anyone who knew Katie would turn to her for distractions. She was, in a way, a master at distracting the birthday girl/boy on their birthday.
"Katie, can we go now? You're gonna be the reason as to why my feet are gonna fall off my legs and the reason as to why I would stop dancing." Janelle said, giggling a little and struggling to keep the shopping bags steady.
One bag had new shoes (and her first two pairs of heels), one had skirts and tank-tops, one had a butt-load of makeup supplies (eyeshadow, eyeliner, lipstick, lip-gloss, foundation, etc) and the last one had a bunch of sets of gloves in all colors (white, black, blue, red, pink, orange, etc). Katie turned and helped carry a couple of the bags and put them in her car.
"Alright, Janelle. It's about 2pm anyway, so...let's go!" Katie exclaimed.
Katie was excited. Janelle...was confused. She had no clue what they were doing and she never got an explanation as to why they were out for 3 hours. They got in the car and started heading back to the Beverly Hills Taylor mansion. Katie knew why she distracted Janelle...but Janelle wasn't allowed to know until later that day.

Yesterday, I was kusoma a Michael Jackson's special edition, released last mwaka on the anniversary of his death.

The book has 70 pages, is very well written, tells all of his life story, talks about the creative process of all albuns, his personal life, lots of great pictures, some of them are rare, and the mwandishi didn't washed the dirty laundry, like accusing him au offend him.

But at the intro, he says that "Michael was accused of crimes that -now we know- never happened. He needed to die to prove he was alive -and innocent."

And it really makes sense. He spent the rest of his life trying to...

The producer/director of Michael Jackson's "This Is It" tour is scoffing at Katherine Jackson's wrongful death suit in which he's named as a defendant, because he had nothing to do with the drugs au treatment that caused the singer's death.

Kenny Ortega just filed legal docs -- obtained kwa TMZ -- asking the court to remove him as a defendant in Katherine's suit, claiming, "Kenneth Ortega is not alleged to be involved in the medical treatment au administration of drugs that allegedly caused Michael Jackson's death."

Ortega's lawyer adds ... Kenny never had a contract with Dr. Conrad Murray au with Michael Jackson, nor has he had any official affiliation with AEG.

Ortega's lawyer says, "The naming of Kenneth Ortega as a defendant in this action, without any basis, without any substantive charging allegations against him, is a gross error."
Michael Jackson's estate is asking a judge to do what Katherine Jackson can't -- kick Alejandra Jackson and her kids out of the Hayvenhurst estate for good.

TMZ has obtained legal docs in which the estate is asking the judge to remove Alejandra, Jaafar, Jermajesty, Genevieve, Donte and Randy Jr. from the estate ... on grounds they're not beneficiaries of Michael Jackson's will and have no claim to the property.

As TMZ first reported in November, Katherine Jackson told Alejandra and the kids -- fathered kwa both Jermaine and Randy -- not to return to the residence. Alejandra is refusing to songesha herself, her kids, and her stuff out ... so the estate has gone to court.

As TMZ also previously reported, the house is scheduled to be renovated -- but sources tell us Alejandra is holding the remodel hostage kwa refusing to leave.

Once Discovery Channel announced that they would broadcast a reenactment of Michael Jackson's autopsy, his mashabiki and his estate were quick to offer their dissenting opinions.
But did it work?

MORE: Michael Jackson's estate slams "debased, sick" autopsy reenactment

Apparently so!

Co-executors of the MJ estate, John Branca and John McClain, released a statement about Discovery's decision NOT to air their special, Michael Jackson's Autopsy: What Really Killed Michael Jackson, this mwezi in Europe.

"The co-executors of the Estate of Michael Jackson are pleased that Discovery Channel made the correct...

The co-executors of Michael Jackson's estate think Discovery Channel did the right thing when they yanked a documentary from their UK schedule that was to feature a reenactment of MJ's autopsy.

A rep for John Branca and John McClain tells TMZ, "The co-executors of the Estate of Michael Jackson are pleased that Discovery Channel made the correct decision in choosing to cancel this exploitative program."

The co-executors went on to say they feel Michael's mashabiki played a large role in Discovery's decision, saying, "While Discovery cited legal proceedings and our request as the reasons for its decision, none of this would have happened had it not been for the incredible passion displayed kwa countless Michael Jackson mashabiki worldwide who knew they stood as one and that their voices could not be ignored."

As for any future plans to air the show, Branca and McClain said, "We are hopeful that this onyesha will never run in any market in the future."
TMZ has learned ... Michael Jackson's weakened state during various tamasha tours throughout his life -- as well as preparations for the London concerts that never took place -- could become powerful evidence in the defense of Dr. Conrad Murray.

Sources connected with the criminal case tell TMZ ... there's "compelling evidence" that MJ was in weakened health whenever he went on tour. Specifically, people who went on various tours -- including the "Bad" and "Dangerous" concerts -- say Jackson was frequently "dehydrated, medicated, and sleep-deprived."

Just like with Dr. Murray, Jackson had a...

The Michael Jackson estate has laid down the gauntlet kwa demanding that Katherine Jackson's business partner immediately stop exploiting MJ's image -- au else!!!

Howard Mann -- the guy who had been partnering with Katherine on numerous MJ ventures including her book "Never Can Say Goodbye" -- is now the target of a cease and desist letter ... obtained kwa TMZ.

The executors -- who until now have tolerated Mann's business ventures with Katherine -- have been pushed over the line and are demanding that Mann stop using MJ's image on banners to promote tonight's "Unveiling of the Jackson Secret...

wewe can get a pair of new gloves for like $20 -- au wewe could purchase one glove, once worn for Michael Jackson for six figures.

Julien's Auctions had their "Icons & Idols" auction Saturday night and a single glove, glovu worn kwa MJ during the "Bad" tour in the late 1980s went for a whopping $330,000. A fedora he wore on stage went for $72,000.

Other highlights included an x-ray of Albert Einstein's brain, which went for $38,750, and a pair of Marilyn Monroe's empty prescription bottles, which sold for $18,750.
The good people of Canada never had a chance to view the Michael Jackson documentary, "Gone Too Soon" -- and now the owners of the flick are declaring war on the distributor ... claiming he personally screwed the entire country.

TMZ obtained a lawsuit filed kwa Objective Films, LLC -- in which they claim they agreed to sell the French and Canadian distribution rights to a company headed kwa a guy named Pierre Turgeon for $100k back in 2009.

Objective says they got the first $50k -- but Turgeon flaked on the back half ... and then tried to back out of the deal altogether. Objective was able to get the flick distributed in France ... Canada wasn't so lucky.

Magical Child

Once there was a child and he was free
Deep inside, he felt the laughter
The mirth and play of nature’s glee
Beauty, upendo was all he’d see

He knew his power was the power of God
He was so sure, they considered him odd
This power of innocence, of compassion, of light
Threatened the priests and created a fight
In endless ways they sought to dismantle
This mysteroius force which they could not handle

In endless ways they tried to destroy
His simple trust, his boundless joy
His invincible armor was a shield of bliss
Nothing could touch it, no venom, no hiss

The child remained in a state of grace...

Not that we're trying to flatter ourselves, but don't people in Bahrain get TMZ?

AQ Business Consultants has filed a petition in the Michael Jackson Estate case, asking the judge for permission to belatedly file a creditor's claim, on grounds it didn't know there was a time in asking for money.

AQ claims it helped Michael refinance $320,000,000 in loans, for which it was entitled to a $3.2 million fee. AQ claims it's still owed $1.2 mil.

The deadline for filing a claim has passed, but AQ claims it didn't get proper notice.

Howard Weitzman, the lawyer for the Estate, tells TMZ, "I don't believe the claim has any merit but they're late in filing regardless."

But here's the thing ... TMZ is big in Bahrain, so what's the deal?
The first U. S. shipment of Michael Jackson's posthumous album, "Michael," will be 900,000 according to retail sources. Sony is projecting first-week CD sales of 340,000 and digital album sales of 60,000. Those numbers are similar to debut-week sales of Jackson's album "This Is It," though that album had the marketing strength of a major motion picuture behind it.

Second week projections for "Michael," are set at 280,000 units, while digital sales are expected to slip from its debut week percentage of 15% to 8%. However, both of those percentages are better than the digital sales garnered by...

Katherine Jackson has been bitterly complaining the Michael Jackson Estate is not giving her enough money, and now we know what she's done to supplement her income in a big way.

TMZ has obtained a contract Katherine signed with Vintage Pop Media (VPM), the company that owns tens of thousands of photos, video and other MJ items. Under the deal -- which is not sanctioned kwa the MJ Estate -- Katherine agreed to participate in the production of "The Katherine Jackson Story," some sort of MJ documentary set to music. Katherine also agreed to pen the book that was just...

t appears Katherine Jackson is going to do what Oksana Grigorieva couldn't ... appear on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Production trucks have arrived at the Jackson family compound in Encino along with two black SUVs. Members of the production crew told TMZ they are there for "an Oprah shoot."

A security guard told TMZ Oprah will not be inaonyesha up ... so this could be filming for an introductory segment of the show.

No word on what the interview might be about ... but we're guessing the words Michael and Jackson will be used often.

UPDATE 5:10 PM PT -- No one has left yet, but there has been a visitor ... the Domino's pizza delivery guy!

UPDATE 6:23 PM PT -- The production trucks are getting a parking ticket. Put it on Oprah's tab.

UPDATE 6:39 PM PT -- The two SUVs have taken off and the production crew has begun to load equipment. Looks like it's a wrap.
