Michael's P.O.V
I can't believe I kissed her! What did I do?!?! Ugh, I'm such a idiot. Jaycee will probably never talk to me again! The only thing to do is to call someone to pick us up. I drag my feet as I go to the pay phone. Twenty-Five cents for one stupid call. Lord have mercy.
Jaycee's P.O.V
He kissed me! He actually kissed me!!! wewe won't believe how long I wanted this siku to come. I sat down In a chair and watch Michael negotiate on a pay phone. His face was saturated with sweat. He still looked cute to me.
Michael's P.O.V
I opted to call for Jermaine, who was the only one who knew how to drive. The background rang while I waited for him to answer.
" Hello?" Jermaine said.
I bit my tongue nervously. " Um, hi Jermaine. This is kinda straight foward, but I need wewe to pick Jaycee and I up."
Jermaine was silent for a moment. " What's the rush?"
Dang, why does Jermaine have to be nosy? " Uh, don't say nothin' and I mean NOTHIN' to nobody about this, but um, I kissed Jaycee." I said, my moyo pumping in my chest.
" wewe WHAT?!?" Jermaine yelled in the speaker. I sighed heavily. I don't even know why I told him.
" Look, I told wewe to not tell anybody, and I want it to stay that way." I mumbled in the phone, glancing over at Jaycee.
" Why'd ya kiss Jaycee?" He said, caught up between whispering and yelling.
Great, Dr. Big Mouth strikes again!
Soon after, Jermaine picked us up. Jaycee was dropped off at her house and we headed down to Hayvenhurst.
Meanwhile at Jaycee's house...
Jaycee's P.O.V
As I opened the door, my mother was in the kitchen, cooking a pot of jambalaya. And then I see my little sister come downstairs.
" Hi Jay!" She exclaimed, running to give me a hug.
" Hi Jada. How ya been?" I replied with a smile.
Jada smiled back. " I've been doing real good." She said, pulling out a ripoti card behind her back.
Eagerly, Jaycee took it and read it carefully. " All A's!!! Jada I'm so proud of you!" She exclaimed, pulling Jada into a hug.
Jaycee's mother came out with plates in her hand. " So Jaycee, how was work t'day? Did have fun?"
Jaycee smiled mischievously. " And a little zaidi than that." She said, giggling.
Jada put her hands on her hips. " Huh? What's going on here? Jaycee has a job?"
Jaycee rolled her eyes. " Have wewe been under a rock the whole time? Yeah, I got a job!" She said.
Jaycee's mother laughed. " Ok, enough playing with your sis. Jay, help me set the chajio, chakula cha jioni table."
Jaycee smiled. " Sure."
As she was gathering the plates, she thought about Michael. His smile. His soft and melodic voice. His big and nicely trimmed Afro. She smiled to herself. Everything about Michael was perfect.
After all this time they spent together, this could finally be a sign that Jaycee aliiba Michael's heart; and now he is finally hers.

She's out of my life
She's out of my life
And I don't know whether to laugh au cry
I don't know whether to live au die
And it cuts like a knife
She's out of my life
It's out of my hands
It's out of my hands
To think for two years she was here
And I took her for granted I was so cavalier
Now the way that it stands
She's out of my hands
So I've learned that love's not possession
And I've learned that upendo won't wait
Now I've learned that upendo needs expression
But I learned too late
She's out of my life
She's out of my life
Damned indecision and cursed pride
Kept my upendo for her locked deep inside
And it cuts like a knife
She's out of my life
She's out of my life
And I don't know whether to laugh au cry
I don't know whether to live au die
And it cuts like a knife
