Empty bowls of ice cream, misery, trying to keep my family together. This is what's been going on lately with me. Jada is in rehab to try to stop her addiction to alcohol, my mother is so busy that she can't even come home. I can't mend my family back together kwa myself. Michael's P.O.V

I'm working on my first adulthood solo album with Quincy Jones ( whom I call Funky ). It's supposed to be a sign that I'm not a child anymore and that I'm completely capable of working without my brothers under my wing, and my father taking charge of all my actions.

At least with Quincy, I know that he thinks that I can be a successful solo artist. And then there is other reasons too. I want to be known zaidi than another black artist. I want to overcome those color barriers. And being stuck in the same R&B chart isn't fun either. I want to break that streak too. I also want to be became better known outside the United States, I want to thrive outside America and explore and get a bigger shabiki base. I know it's a lot of expectations but I know it'll all happen someday....

The inayofuata day, Felicity and I had to fly to New York City for a picha shoot. I was super excited until we had to do it with pounds, yes pounds of make up on and wearing see through clothes. I grunt while dragging my drunken sister Jada out of the bar. My hand is shoved in my skirt, upindo pocket, shuffling around for the keys to my Ford Cantina. Times like this is when I wish that Jada was never my sister. She's an underage drinker and my mom has done nothing to stop it. It's not like she would anyway; she's always with her ' boyfriend ' James.
