When I saw the principal coming I nearly screamed! I started pulling on Bristol’s shirt. I whispered in her ear and told her that he was coming, but it was no use.
“He’s coming closer!”
But my tries were in vain. In other words, an epic fail. I rolled my eyes into the back of my head and sighed heavily. Mr. Jones just had to come nyumbani early! If Mrs. Meyers was here, shed put an easy stop to this. But no! Mr. Jones is gonna land the hammer hard!
Suddenly, the lights in the school went out, and everybody screamed. I heard Mr. Jones say, “Stay calm!” Uh, too late for that bud! SO I decided to take things into my own hand.
“Everybody! To the cafeteria! Take a kiti, kiti cha and sit!”
“Everybody started to move, including me.. well I was until the principal caught me kwa the shoulder and whipped me around.
“What do wewe think you’re doing young lady?”
“Asking wewe to get over the loud speaker and repeat what I just said.”
“And why should I?”
“So wewe can keep your students save and keep a good record.”
At this the principal flushed red and started walking to wars his office.
kwa the time I got to the cafeteria almost every student and teacher was there. When I walked in everyone stared at me. I kept walking to where my Marafiki were. I stood up on the table, but before I could say anything the principal came over the loud speaker with a very important message.
