Lately I've been in a decade kinda mood. I've made makala for my inayopendelewa 90s and 00s TV series/movies and am in the process of doing a 90s movie one. Since there is no decent club for the 10s yet and it seems a bit presumptuous to make one now, I decided to post this makala here. Of course I already made a kura ya maoni that nobody answered, so logically making an makala that nobody will read is the inayofuata step. Enjoy!

This was such a great movie. So great in fact, that I didn't even need a stellar cast to get me to go see it. The premise alone was intriguing. I know this is a remake, but I really have no desire to see the original. This movie was everything I needed and then some. It had a surprising twist that I didn't see coming either.

I upendo the White House. I upendo action. I upendo action sinema IN the White House. I also upendo Gerard Butler and siege movies. And just America. Anyway this was a great fun movie. In television's greatest onyesha 24, there was a series of episodes in which the White House was invaded kwa terrorists and while that's better, this still is a worthy "sequel".

"Why don't wewe and I play a game of fuck off. wewe go first."

I had no hopes for this movie. I thought it sounded interesting and needed something to watch on Netflix. Imagine my shock when I actually found myself enjoying it. A lot. I upendo the idea of cities within one building and fighting your way out of it. This movie was funny, had great action, and decent acting. Would recommend.

"Only one thing fighting for order in the chaos: the men and women of the Hall of Justice. Juries. Executioners. Judges."

What a great Supernatural horror movie! Good cast, funny, and creepy in all the right places with excellent muziki to accentuate the ~creepiness~. There's no message here, however wewe think there might be one. Paul Bettany is stellar as Michael and while the ending kinda pissed me off a little, it's still very fun. Much wow.

"The last time God Lost faith in Man, He sent a flood. This time, He sent what wewe see outside."
"Are wewe saying this is the apocalypse?"
"I'm saying this is an extermination."

I upendo disaster movies. Even the so bad pure CGI made for TV disaster movies. I guess I just like to watch the world burn (literally!). This is the best of them I have seen and of course its done kwa the phenomenally talented South Koreans. This is a rather long movie, and does take a little while to get going but once it does wewe will be so glad wewe stuck it out! Thank wewe Netflix!

"Heather, you've got to watch You're Next!" "Have wewe seen You're inayofuata yet?" "Watch You're Next!" I can't tell wewe how many times I heard this from people online who know me and my upendo for horror. Usually when I hear constant praise, I wind up not loving the movie. Probably because I'm a contrarian but whatever. That was not the case for this one. It was slightly slow to get going but I loved every dakika of it. Erin turned out to be a real BAMF and now she's gone down in horror history as an epic final girl. Very difficult to accomplish with only ONE movie.

"Why?"
"Why the fuck not?"

I will always have a special place in my moyo for the military. They do and see things most of us will never have to in our lives, nor are willing to. I knew the story of Marcus, and already wanted to see this movie before I knew Ben Foster was a part of it. That just sealed the deal. This has the perfect amount of action, story, and depth. I connected with these guys immediately and my moyo broke for them throughout the story. Not for the faint of heart.

"You can die for your country, I'm gonna live for mine."

I don't care what anyone says, Kevin James is funny. And Adam Sandler used to be funny, but he's great in this. I enjoyed this movie way zaidi than I actually should have. Finally something with a unique premise that hasn't been done au remade 500 times before. I was surprised kwa how much action there was in this movie. Graphics were great and ujumla, jumla a wonderful movie. Highly recommend!

"We got this, if we don't, the world ends."

I always like Charlie Brown but this movie wasn't on my radar, I didn't care about it one way au another. But I had a trial period of HBO and this was on so I decided to give it a shot not expecting au hoping for anything, just something to kill the time. I am really glad I did! This movie was just downright adorable!

"Whenever I feel really alone, I just sit and stare into the night sky. I've always thought that one of those stars was *my* star, and at moments like this, I know that *my* nyota will always be there for me. Like a comfortable voice saying, "Don't give up, kid."

I loved 300, but I loved this movie even more. A very worthy sequel to an already awesome movie. The graphics are still amazing, the characters are still fascinating, and the battles are still enchanting. Eva Green is great in everything she does, but as Artemisia she really shines. If wewe liked 300, you'll likely like this sequel more. Make this a trilogy please!

"Better we onyesha them, we chose to die on our feet, rather than live on our knees!"

From the moment this movie was first pitched, I knew I had to see it. I knew I would upendo it. However, I went into it expecting it to be zaidi of a Friday the 13th spoof than it was. Don't get me wrong, it WAS a spoof of F13 and Jason but it was so much zaidi than that. This is a touching drama movie about a girl missing her mom disguised as a horredy. I'm willing to admit I cried so hard at the end I couldn't see anymore. Damn horror has no business making me cry like that.

"Ever since I was a little boy, I've dreamed of being the final girl."

Scream is the movie that started it all for me. All my horror upendo started at a VERY young single digit age thanks to that movie. I liked 2 and loved 3, but not enough to even compare it to the original. Then 4 came out, and I struggled with myself over which I liked more. It was that good. All the original main cast is back with some newbies thrown in. The deaths were out of this world scary-good gory. It was everything I hoped it would be and then some.

"You forgot the first rule of remakes. Don't fuck with the original!"

I'm not a shabiki of the original Evil Dead movies. To be fair, I haven't watched any for at least 10 years so maybe I like them zaidi now but I didn't then. So I was hesitant to watch this movie, but eager to see if it would be different from the original. I think I was so pleasantly surprised kwa this movie, I sat stunned for a good few dakika while the credits were rolling. I upendo a horror that doesn't hold back on the gore, and the last 5 dakika alone has zaidi of that that most all horrors combined.

"You will die! Like the others before you, one kwa one, we will take you!"

Keanu is a legend. A classic. He doesn't nyota in franchises, he creates them! Bill & Ted? Legendary. The Matrix? Ultra legendary! And now John Wick...baba yaga. The ultimate Keanu franchise. Damn this movie was good! Again, I didn't expect much because of all the hype but the hype didn't do this movie enough justice IMO.

"People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back."

*SCREAMS* I can't say how much I upendo this movie. I had my standards incredibly high because the first was so epic. I just knew this one would be too, and for once in my life I was not disappointed kwa my standards. I saw this not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES (a record) in the theater. Unless it's part of a horror franchise, wewe pretty much have to drag me to the theater once let alone three times. Best, best, BEST movie to come out of this decade hands down. wewe can tell the amount of dedication Keanu put into his fights, because that translates so well on screen. I NEED NUMBER THREE!

Note: This review is dedicated to Adam West.

Justice League is a 2017 superhero film that is the 5th film in the DC Extended Universe. Despite getting mostly bad reviews there are lots of good things in the film and this review is about why the film is worth checking out.

The Plot

Batman decides to lead a team of super heroes. He teams up with Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash, and Cyborg. Batman is desperate to make the world safe, because of what happened to Superman. Sadly Steppenwolf is putting the world in danger. Batman and his fellow Heroes try to stop Steppenwolf. They decide to save...

The new short film “Harmony” is sure to leave audiences unnerved when it premieres at the 2014 HollyShorts Film Festival on August 19th at the TLC Chinese Theatre and Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.

This Supernatural thriller follows a clairvoyant nurse in a fight for her life against an intruder she never saw coming – au did she?!

“Harmony” was executive produced Dawn Davis, who also stars in the project, written kwa Warren Fast and helmed kwa rising female director Logan Kibens, a Sundance Screenwriting Lab fellow, HBO Directors Guild fellow and winner of Film Independent’s Project Involve and Sloane grants.

The film packs a lot of storytelling into a 5-minute morsel and left me perhaps seeing shades of Christopher Nolan’s influence on the inayofuata generation of filmmakers.
