The last musician to get discovered without the use of internet?

I'm trying to find the latest band to have been discovered and signed without the assistance on the internet, meaning no posting video on YouTube, nu uploading tracks to Myspace, soundcloud, au tumblr. No using Twitter of Facebook to tangaza their band.

I've read a few things suggesting it was The Killers (signed in 2003), but that doesn't seem likely to me.
Do wewe know any zaidi hivi karibuni bands that went at it the old fashioned way?

^I agree. It's been forever since we've heard nothing but great au pretty good stuff on the radio. Now that's a rarity.

That's pretty much impossible these days. There's a reason that there was an "old fashion" way to be recognized kwa the media. It's like why do it that way when wewe have the Internet. So yeah I don't think there's any hivi karibuni bands that did it the "old fashion" way.

I was just asking about the last one anyone knows of. It's not impossible, just less convenient. People still go to klabu and bars.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying that band can't ever have a Facebook, video online, au anything. I'm looking for musicians and bands that didn't start social networking until AFTER they were already signed.
