Percy thought it was odd LaSalle wasn't at work today. Brody and Pride told her the reason, and after work, she decided to go check on him. When she got to his house, she found the door unlocked. It freaked her out, but she carefully opened it up. She was relieved no one broke in. What she heard inayofuata had her giggling to high heaven. LaSalle awoke to the giggling.

"Percy, what the hell are wewe doin' here?" he asked. Percy regained herself before explaining. "I heard about your 'situation' and decided to come check on you." she answered. "They told wewe about Cade?" LaSalle asked. "And more." Percy answered. "That is the LAST THING I need!" LaSalle snarled as he slammed his hand on the coffee table. "Calm down, LaSalle. I wanna help wewe out." Percy budged. "I really appreciate that Percy, but I gotta do this on my own." LaSalle rejected.

Percy sat down inayofuata to him on the couch. "You can't keep lettin' Cade's addiction eat wewe like this. wewe gotta tell him 'Shape up au ship out!' at some point." she advised. "But he ain't got no where to go!" LaSalle exclaimed. "What about Alabama?" Percy suggested. LaSalle looked at her. "You got a point, Percy. After his inayofuata rehab stint, I might send him over to stay with my parents for a while. That'll let my momma know he's OK." he said. "After what you've been through with the mermaid-" "Why do wewe keep callin' her that?" he snapped as he cut off Percy.

"I'm sorry, Percy. It's just that..." he paused. "I know." Percy comforted. LaSalle HATED talking about Savannah now. "I should've never brought that up anyways." Percy admitted. LaSalle rubbed her back as if he were saying "It's OK.". "How'd wewe get in my house, anyway?" he asked curiously. "Your door was unlocked." Percy answered. "You were PASSED OUT when I got here. kwa the way, wewe were snorin'." she continued trying not to giggle again. LaSalle wanted to object, but he blushed as he felt too embarrassed. This time, Percy just died laughing as Lasalle smiled at it.
