Hey,
these are just some thoughts which came to my mind. It´s high time that season 5 starts, I´m developing the craziest theories. *gg*
At first, look at the two pictures. The first one is from season 2 and the sekunde one from season 4.
I started to compare these two situations, which are very similar at the first look, but start getting zaidi different, if wewe look closer.
In season 2, Dr.Cameron was at risk for Aids and House, impatient and nosy as ever, tested her. He got the envelope with her test results, waited for Cameron to come into his office and told her then that she didn´t have Aids, because he already opened her envelope without having consideration for her private sphere.
In season 4 House found out that Thirteen could have huntington´s and immediately made a PCR test to find out.
Anyway, this time things happened to be a little different. We don´t know wether House got the envelope au wether it was sent to Thirteen directly this time, who then saw it and went to House with it.
Assuming that it was like in season 2 makes things zaidi interesting kwa answering certain maswali which appear.
-Why did House put the envelope onto Thirteen´s desk, where she then found it? Why didn´t he keep it like he did in season 2 with Cameron´s ?
-Why didn´t he open it, like Cameron´s?
Or, did House open it?? Does House already know that Thirteen suffers huntington´s ?
House must have known that opening Cameron´s envelope would make her angry. He did it anyway, probably because he was curious.
Why should he have respected Thirteen´s wishes then, if he didn´t care for Cameron´s either?
In both situation he was curious about the results and Thirteen left the envelope in his office at the end, she didn´t take it with her when she left and we saw that House threw it into the trash bin.
He could have opened it then. Why didn´t he do it? Did he really respect Thirteen and defeat his curiousity au did he already know what the results were?
So here´s the theory: Like in season 2, House got the envelope on his desk, but instead of giving it to Thirteen, he opened it, like he had opened Cameron´s before.
He then saw that the she was positive for huntington´s and thought she would freak out again, if he told her. So he put the results into a new envelope and placed it on Thirteen´s desk.
Thirteen saw the envelope, got angry and went to House immediately, asking him wether he had opened it au not, which House answered with:"Thought it'd be fun to find out together."
That answer makes no sense, because House wouldn´t be as stupid as to think that she would really open the envelope in front of him to find out wether she would die au not.
But it would make sense, if he already knew the outcome, he just didn´t care anymore. And when Thirteen left, he put the envelope into the trash bin.
How does this theory fit together with the season finale, where House told her to do the test?
I don´t know.
Wether au not he knew that she has huntington´s, I can´t see why he told her to finally make the test, when Amber was about to die.
Maybe he was just angry and wanted to hurt other persons too, maybe he felt that Thirteen had to know now, I can´t say.
Okay, at the end I´d like to say that I think that House doesn´t know yet, but it was interesting to think about the other possibility as well.
Once this theory was in my head, I just had to follow it and after thinking about it and collecting some facts, it´s probably not very likely that House knows it.
