Again though, I wont completely rule it out because we dont really know yet what happened in FairyTale Land between the time that Belle was talking to Grumpy and the time when the curse was activated.

Agree with wewe on that. Also, Regina having been brutally torn away from her love, even though Regina is zaidi than willing to hurt others, she may have even the slightest bit of sympathy for an innocent girl in upendo and may spare her. And like wewe said, she's already got her locked up, no need to go to the extreme.

I thought it possible until Jefferson was able to free her from the mental asylum. If Regina didn't see that coming than I don't think she has the moyo belonging to Belle. I do however think Belle is essential to the foiling of Regina's plans. Now that Mr. dhahabu has brought magic back to Storybrooke we will have to see.
