Its known as a "Wraith" which is a soul-sucking monster and whoever is marked kwa that medallion which Phillip and Regina are, the Wraith preys on their souls. Regina gets saved while Philip loses his soul. If wewe know Harry Potter, it is similar to the idea of Dementors.

Oh....I know about the Dementor-Wraith....but I heard somewhere that Rumple au Cora 'created' it... 'Marked For Death'.. :-((((
