I walked to the principals office with kate, clutching my head. We knocked on the door. “come in!” a voice called from inside. We walked in. The principal was sitting down with a kuvuka, msalaba look on his face.
Vicky was sitting down to, looking very happy with herself. “sit down girls.” He alisema in a stern voice. There was only one kiti, kiti cha so i had to stand.
“now girls, i heard that wewe have been at my daughter lately.” He wasn’t pleased.
“are wewe sure its not the other way around, sir?” kate asked, angrily. He looked shocked. “excuse me? are wewe say my daughter would dare to lay a finger on wewe girls.” I stood there quietly. Kate didn’t! “not me, she does it to leah.” I glared at kate in shock. The principals eyes turned to me.
“is this true leah?” “umm, yes sir.” I alisema quietly.
He eyes grew wide. “did she give wewe that cut on your forehead?” i looked down. “no sir.” He sat back. “who did then?” i didn’t answer. I didn’t want one of my best Marafiki to get in trouble over Vicky. “well?” he said, impatiently.
“i did, sir.” Kate stepped in. He looked surprised. “you? And why would wewe do that to your friend?” kate looked down, i knew she would get in trouble so i stepped in. “she was trying to help me because Vicky tried to pull down my pants.” The principal stared at me and then stared at Vicky. “is this true Vicky?”
Vicky looked up at him innocently.
“no daddy.” She alisema in a sweet voice that made me gag. He looked at us in disbelief. “i cant believe wewe would blame my daughter like this, girls.” kwa then, i blew it.
“HOW CAN wewe THINK WE DID SOMETHING TO HER? SHE HAS MADE MY LIFE A LIVING HELL SINCE THE FIRST siku IN THIS SCHOOL AND NOW wewe ARE GOING TO LET HER GET AWAY WITH IT JUST LIKE THAT?” the principal scowled at me. Vicky whispered something in his ear. He smiled, evily. “who hit wewe with the glass bottle?” i sighed. “kate, but it was an accident.”
“no it wasn’t leah! She hit wewe because wewe took the glass bottle off of her because she was about 2 hit me!” Vicky said, smugly. “No! That’s not true! She didn’t mean to hit me!” i yelled.
