Niall Horan Fanfic Chapter 25: Wouldn’t Change a Thing
“Hazel, it’s nothing permanent, like I’m not proposing, but I was just wondering if wewe ever thought about us like getting married?” he alisema really fast.
    I still didn’t know what to say. I was in complete shock.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to throw that at wewe like this. I should have waited.” He alisema looking at the ground.
“No.” I alisema finally.
“No what?” he asked nervously.
“No wewe shouldn’t have waited.” I said.
“So? Have wewe thought about it?” he asked.
“Yeah, a lot actually. I never alisema anything, cause I didn’t know if we were on the same page.” I alisema smiling at him.
“I think we are.” He said.
“Me too.” I laughed.
    Niall looked at me for a really long time. I can’t believe he actually thought of marrying me. It was crazy. I could not be the person Niall James Horan wanted to spend the rest of his life with, but I guess I was.
“But, when wewe propose, it better be romantic. Like sky uandishi au fireworks au something big.” I joked.
“And here I was thinking wewe were simple.” He alisema kissing me lightly.
“I was kidding. However wewe do it, I’ll love.” I said.
“Good, but for now I have something for you.” He alisema pulling out a small box from his pocket.
“What is that?” I alisema getting nervous.
    Did he already have an engagement ring? Man this boy was ten steps ahead.
“Don’t worry,” he said, “It’s a promise ring.”
“A who?” I said, I sort of lived under a rock.
“A promise ring…man you’re slow. It’s like a promise that we’ll be together forever, but not a serious as an engagement ring.” He alisema smiling.
“Well why are wewe smiling at me? Put that thing on my finger and kiss me!” I squealed.
“You’re bossy.” He alisema while placing the ring on my finger.
“I upendo wewe Niall.” I said.
“I upendo wewe too muffin.” He laughed.
“I hate pet names.” I alisema making a gagging noise.
“I know that’s why I alisema it.” He alisema grabbing my hand.
    We laid down on the beach, pwani and watched the sunset. I rested my head on Niall’s chest and listened to him breathing, as he stroked my hair. I loved being with him like this.
“Babe?” he said.
“Yeah?” I answered.
“I hate to ruin the moment, but I need to go back to Ireland soon.” He said.
“So wewe decide to tell me now?” I asked getting upset.
“I know, I’m really sorry, but I haven’t been nyumbani for a long time, and I miss it.” He said.
“Yeah, I know.” I said.
“I’m going to miss you.” He said.
“When are wewe leaving?” I asked.
“Tomorrow afternoon.” He mumbled.
“What!? And wewe didn’t think that was something important to mention?” I alisema getting mad.
“Hazel, please don’t be mad. I was going to tell wewe sooner but with all the fighting with Ally’s parents I didn’t want to hurt you, and then tonight, I didn’t know how to bring it up, and I needed to tell wewe before tomorrow, I just…it’s messed up now.” He alisema looking sad.
“Yeah well maybe wewe should have thought it through more.” I alisema turning away from him.
“Hazel please.” He said.
“Just leave me alone. Take wewe and your stupid promise ring back to Ireland and leave me alone.” I alisema letting a tear roll down my cheek.
“Hazel…” Niall alisema desperately.
“Just take me home.” I said.
    We walked to the car and he drove me nyumbani in silence. He pulled up to my house, and I was about to get out of the car. Niall grabbed my arm and stopped me.
“What?” I snapped at him.
“Why are wewe so mad at me?” he said.
“You should have told me sooner.” I said.
“I didn’t know how.” He said.
“Yeah well that’s not my problem.” I said.
“Do wewe not remember what we just talked about?” he asked me.
“Yeah, I do.” I said.
“We were talking about getting married. wewe alisema wewe would marry me Hazel. I gave wewe a promise ring, and over one stupid little thing wewe ripped it off and told me to get out of your life. How is that supposed to make me feel?” he said.
“Niall it’s not a stupid little thing! It’s a big thing. wewe are going to leave and go to another country on another continent, without me. wewe easily leave me all the time. Like I’m that disposable.” I alisema crying.
“You’re not disposable Hazel! I want to marry you. I want to be with wewe forever. That’s not a small thing. I want wewe and me to be together forever.” He alisema sounding really hurt.
“I hate you.” I said.
“What?” Niall said.
“You make me upendo wewe too much Niall. I need wewe too much.” I alisema burying my face in my hands.
“Babe, please just forgive me. I’m so, so sorry about not telling wewe sooner. I didn’t know it would hurt wewe this much. Just please don’t be mad at me anymore. I hate fighting with you.” He said.
“I upendo wewe Niall.” I alisema grabbing him and pulling him into a hug.
“I upendo wewe so much.” He said.
“Can I have it back?” I said.
“Of course.” He alisema placing the ring back on my finger.
“I’m sorry for flipping out.” I said.
“It’s okay.” He said.
“No, no it’s not. I alisema ‘I hate you’ that was terrible. I didn’t mean it like that. I just hate that I need wewe so much.” I said.
“Don’t worry about it.” He said.
“I don’t want wewe to leave.” I said.
“Trust me; I don’t want to leave either. Will wewe come with me?” he said.
“I don’t want to invade your family time.” I said.
“You are my family Hazel, my mom will upendo to see wewe and I don’t want to leave you.” He said.
“Niall…” I said.
“No Hazel, you’re coming with me, and that’s final.” He said.
“Fine,” I said, “but now wewe need to come in and help me pack.”
“Cool.” He laughed.
    We got out of the car and went into my house. No one was home. No one ever was. We went up to my room and pulled my suitcases from the closet. I opened my draws and dumped everything out. Niall neatly folded everything and placed it in my suitcase. He was the neat one in the relationship.
    Once we finished packing my stuff we went and sat on the couch. Niall turned on the T.V. I sat down on his lap and he started rocking me back and forth.
“I want to marry you.” He said.
“In time.” I said.
“No now.” He whined.
“You’re crazy.” I said.
“Crazy in upendo with you.” He cooed at me.
“You need sleep.” I said.
“No I need to marry you.” He said.
“You are too mushy.” I laughed ruffling his hair.
“You are too beautiful.” He alisema rubbing circles on my cheek with his thumb.
“Go home.” I said.
“Come with me?” he asked.
“Fine.” I said.
    He ran upstairs and grabbed my suitcases, then took them out to the car. Then he came back in and scooped me up and carried me to the car. I was so tired that I fell asleep on the way to his hotel.
“Hazel wake up.” Niall alisema shaking me.
“Whhaattt?” I alisema groggily.
“You need to walk into the hotel if I carry your suitcases.” He laughed.
“Piggy back me.” I said.
“Ok hop on.” He said.
    I climbed up onto his back and he carried me and my stuff into the hotel. We got in the elevator and went upstairs. When we got to his room he couldn’t grab his key because he was holding too much.
“Reach into my left front pocket and grab it.” He said.
“I refuse to reach into your pants.” I alisema resting my head on his shoulder.
“Hazel stop uigizaji like a five mwaka old and get the key.” He said.
“You forgot the please.” I alisema to test his patience.
“Please get the key.” He said.
“Ok, but only because I upendo you.” I said.
    We finally got into the hotel room and he placed me on the bed. I laid down and was so close to falling asleep, but Niall kept banging draws and turning lights on and off, while he was packing his stuff.
“Are wewe almost done?” I laughed.
“Done!” he shouted jumping onto the kitanda with me.
“Can we snuggle?” I said.
“Yes of course princess.” He alisema kissing me.
    I rested my head on his chest and he twirled my hair around his fingers.
“Night.” I said.
“Goodnight.” He alisema kissing my forehead.
“I upendo you.” I whispered.
“I upendo wewe too.” He said.
