Tori's POV:
I rolled my eyes at my best friend's, Nikki Starr, excitement. She was flipping out because her muziki career had taken off about three months ago. And now, her manager had managed to get her to tour with One Direction as their opening act.
"I'm going to be so close to Niall!" she sighed. "He's so dreamy. I wonder if he'll like me." I stared at her. Yeah, I knew she was crazy about him. But what girl wasn't? She knew nothing about him. "Calm down, Nikki! You're going to give the papparazzi something else to spazz about!" I exclaim, laughing slightly.
Nikki looked at me. "Oh my gosh! I almost forgot to tell you!" I tilted my head. "What?" I asked. "You're coming on tour too!" I felt like a bomb had gone off in my stomach. "What?" I repeated in shock. Nikki giggled. "You're coming as my back-up singer!"
Now I wanted to spazz just like she was. "Wow Nikki, that's...Thank you!" I hug her tightly. "You didn't think I would leave the states without wewe did you?" she smiled. "No, I just didn't expect that I'd be on stage with you!" She smiled even wider. "Tori! wewe are a great singer! I want to help wewe out too!" She paused, looking at her watch. "Oh! I'm going to be late for a recording session! Can we hang out later?" I nodded. "Bye now!" she said, as she hopped in her car. I waved as she drove away.
I started to walk back towards my house. I never used my car. I cared too much about the enviroment to do that. Plus, I loved walking. So you're going to see Niall too, I thought lustfully. Maybe he'll pick wewe instead of Nikki. I shook my head. I wouldn't chase after him. Maybe he'd chase after me...
Niall's POV:
"These are the girls that will be our opening act." Liam Payne said, inaonyesha a picture to our band. "They look nice." Harry Styles said, passing the picture to Louis Tomlinson who showed it to Zayn Malik. "Harry, wewe think every girl looks nice." I joked, finally getting the picture.
My eyes glanced at the two girls in the photo. Nikki Starr, popped into my mind as I looked at the girl who had long brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing jeans and a white tank-top. "And this is who?" I ask, pointing to the other girl, who also had brown hair and brown eyes. "Tori Night." answered Liam. I nodded and handed the picture to him.
"So, who gets dibbs?" Harry asked. I shrugged. Liam and Louis smirked. "Niall gets Nikki." Harry laughed. "Okay!" Zayn watched me as I stared at the picture again. "Or does he get Tori?" he asked. I looked at him. "Uh no, I'm fine with Nikki." Louis smirked. "You don't even know her yet lad, wait until wewe do."
"We have an interview to be at!" Louis announced, standing up. "Let's get it over with. Just remember, we get to meet Nikki and Tori tomorrow!" That got a smile out of everyone. I stood up and put on my hat. The rest of the boys walked out of the door. I stared at that picture again. Nikki and Tori...I really wonder who.

The teenage boyband came third on the 2010 run of the ITV reality TV onyesha and unlike Cher Lloyd who advised the new batch of hopefuls to ‘run away’ and hide, the boys claim that all the wannabes need to do, is just be themselves.
Speaking to ITV.com, Harry Styles alisema contestants shouldn’t be ‘phoney,’ explaining:
Don’t be phoney! Be yourself and don’t pretend be something you’re not. The public will see right through it.
Louis Tomlinson added:
Switch your songs up and don’t be afraid to go out of your comfort zone. And dress to impress. STANDARD!
Niall Horan thinks the singers just need to relax and enjoy the show, saying:
Make sure wewe relax and enjoy it – don’t let nerves kill all the fun. And don’t be a diva – be nice to everyone who helps wewe as it’s highly likely you’ll meet them again further down the line.
