Elounor_Lover24 POV
I can’t believe I’m doing this. I breathe in deeply and let it out. I’m not having sekunde thoughts. I don’t have cold feet. I’m just nervous. I have waiting for this for years and now that it’s finally happening I don’t know what to do with myself. Well, actually I do. I’m going to walk down that isle, that’s what. My best friend Eleanor is lacing up my dress while I calm myself. wewe would think it would be weird. Us being Marafiki and all. I mean, I’m marrying her ex. I use to feel awful. For the longest time I felt like the worst best friend in the world. But she pulled me aside one siku and set me straight.
“Look,” She still had her hand wrapped around my forearm, “How many times am I going to have to tell wewe that I don’t blame you, au that I’m not mad at you?” She was looking for an answer.
I sighed. “I don’t know, Elle.”
Her eyes went from aggravated to sympathetic. “What happened between me and Lou was NOT your fault. We both met new people. Let it go. I’m even getting married soon.” She smiled a little. “And you’re still upset? Honey, live your life with Louis. wewe upendo him and he loves you. Just be.”
I admit I had burst into tears after she told me that. All I needed was her blessing. To know that she was happy too. And she was.
“There.” She smiled at me in the mirror. “Now, your veil.” She grabbed the frothy fabric and clipped the comb under my bun. “Finished.” She stood behind me and laid her head on my shoulder. “You look beautiful. Lou is going to fall out.” She giggled and I did too. “Come on.” She grabbed my hand. “Let’s go get wewe married.”
Three Years Later
“Britten, don’t pull on that, little love.” Louis was pulling her hand away from the window curtains. He scooped her up, lifting her above his head and kissing her belly.
Anytime I saw Louis around our daughter, I smiled. He was such a good dad. She was turning two the coming weekend, and it pulled at my heart. Sure, in society’s eyes she was still a baby. But to me, my baby was gone. The baby that cried at 12, 2, and 5 in the morning only wanting her daddy half the time. The baby that Louis would just hold in his arms and sing “Isn’t She Lovely” softly while she smiled up at him. The baby Louis would take to the recording studio and pass around to Uncle Harry, Niall, Zayn, Liam, and Paul. Now she sings with him in her little bubbling words, and instead of passing her off, she runs to her uncles.
“What’s the matter, Love?” Louis voice pulls me out of my memory.
“Just thinking.” I tell him and he pulls me into his side. I wrap, upangaji pamoja my arms around him waist and lay my head on his chest, kissing Brittan’s belly.
“About?”
“How things used to be.” I tell him. “Brittan isn’t a baby anymore. Now what?”
“Well, we could always have another.” He says.
I laugh and shake my head. He was always the one for jokes. But when I look up at him I know he’s serious. “What? Really?”
He shrugs. “Well, yeah, I mean, you’re right, Brittan isn’t a baby anymore and if we have anymore I want them to be close. “
“Oh, wow.” I breathe out.
“If wewe don’t want to right no-“He starts but I cut him off with a kiss.
“Oh, no. I want.” And kiss him again. This time I feel his smile beneath mine and Brittan’s tinkling laugh.
hujambo guys!!! If wewe want one, leave your man and I will do my thing!
