MaBy will waste no time in her bid for chart domination in 2011 as she jets back to the UK tomorrow to lay tracks for her new album.

The X Factor sensation told the Herald she will be taking it easy tonight as she rings in the New mwaka with close Marafiki and family.

Mary Byrne (51) was speaking after a guest appearance on stage at the Olympia Theatre alongside One Direction's Niall Horan and new panto princes Jedward.

Still riding high on their wave of success following their stint on the ITV reality show, the singers thrilled the audience kwa coming on stage to judge a imba competition in which different sections of the crowd competed kwa imba the hit song Amarillo.

And sekunde after coming off stage, a delighted Mary told the Herald she wouldn't rule out starring in Jack And The Beanstalk with Jedward in the venue inayofuata year.

The Lucan twins (19) revealed they would be thrilled to have her feature alongside them in the upcoming production.

Mary's panto cameo marked her only public appearance over the festive season.

"I had a great krisimasi at nyumbani and I've just been relaxing.

"I'm going back over to the UK in the New mwaka to start laying down tracks for my album and then the X Factor tour starts."

And it will be a low-key celebration for Mary again tonight as she rings in the New mwaka with her family.

"I'm going up to my sister's house, so that will be nice," she said.

Meanwhile, Niall (17) is also looking mbele to spending tonight at nyumbani with his family and friends.

"I'm at nyumbani and then going back to England on New Year's Day.

"I thought it was going to be a normal panto, but it was actually unbelievable.

"The two lads bring a bit of life to the onyesha and they have brilliant energy.

"It was a brilliant show. I don't know if I'd do it again, but I'd like to do it again because I was always into musical theatre," he added.

The baby-faced crooner also revealed his boyband One Direction can't wait to perform for the first time on Irish shores inayofuata year.

"We're gigging at the moment. I'm just back from Scotland.

"It was a short krisimasi but it was good. I had a week off.

"I don't know of any Irish gigs we'll be doing just yet apart from the tour.

"It's all going great and I upendo it," he said.

Hundreds of mashabiki rushed out to greet the muziki stars at the stage door after the onyesha after the cast enjoyed a standing ovation.

And John Grimes told the Herald he was thrilled to share the stage with the zaidi hivi karibuni X Factor alumni.

"I think it's really great they all came down. They got a great reaction and the crowd went crazy.

"We've all come on the same X Factor journey so it's really cool," he said
