Both of their pasts were completely different. Quinn was never married, David was originally her boyfriend that she broke up with because he cheated on her and they would had flashbacks to onyesha what went wrong with them. Their plan was way better than what happened. Clay's backstory was completely different, it involved his relationship with his family and how he had a drug problem and how he relapsed.
