Both... but I've always wanted to see exactly what he had to say in his "love letter to Peyton" :)

We already kind of know the gist of what the comet is about, but the details of UKOR are still kind of a big mystery.

we´ve already seen "an unkindness of ravens" on the show i mean it`s based on Lucas`s life. so it`s just gonna be reading the show instead of watching it. which is stupid

As saramanusson pretty much stated... if I wanted to read "An Unkindness of Ravens" I could just print the scripts for seasons 1-4 and I will have basically read the novel. If any of the other characters had written Ravens I might be more interested- but since Lucas wrote it, and the show was basically told from Lucas's perspective- it would be pretty much exactly like rewatching the first 4 seasons.

While I'm not a Leyton fan- I am actually curious what Lucas wrote in "The Comet." I can imagine a poem or short story being written about a comet and being symbolic of a love story... but an entire novel? That would be very difficult to write in an interesting way. So either it's a boring book or Lucas is an incredible writer... and I'd be interested in reading it if it's actually written that well.

Unkindness of ravens is season 1-4 so I've already seen it unfold. It would be nice to see the words he used to describe people cause the snippets we got to read were beautiful. But the comet had me addicted and super curious. It was all about Peyton and the little we got to read metaphorically was just divine: "his belief in God, and love, and art would be reawakened in his heart...." :) :)
