Leader: (Kit), wewe have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for wewe to be apprenticed. From this day, until wewe receive your warrior name, wewe will be known as (new name, ending with 'paw'). I ask StarClan to watch over wewe and guide wewe until wewe find in your paws the strength and courage of a warrior.
The leader calls up the warrior he/she has chosen as a mentor.
Leader: (Warrior), wewe are ready to take on an apprentice. wewe had received excellent training from (former mentor), and wewe have shown yourself to be fierce and brave. wewe will be the mentor of (apprentice), and I expect wewe to pass on all wewe know to (apprentice).
Warrior Ceremony
Leader: I, (Leader), leader of (Clan), call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she) has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend (him/her) to wewe as a warrior in (his/her) turn.
Leader: (Apprentice), do wewe promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?
Apprentice: I do.
Leader: Then kwa the powers of StarClan, I give wewe your warrior name. (Apprentice), from this moment wewe will be known as (new warrior name). StarClan honors your (virtues), and we welcome wewe as a full warrior of (Clan).
The leader rests his au her muzzle on the apprentice's head, and he au she licks the leader's shoulder.[7] The rest of the Clan then greets the new warrior kwa calling him au her kwa their new name.[8] The warrior will sit a silent vigil guarding the camp that night,[9] except if that is not possible (such as Squirrelflight's ceremony, when the Clan did not have a camp, and the task of exploring the lake was assigned).

From this moment on he/she will be known as (new name), for (description of the reason).
