It was the final night of the band's tour. John, Allen, Peter, and Stan found it bittersweet. Backstage, John said, "It's been a great tour." Allen said, "Yes, it has. It went kwa so quickly." Peter said, "Yeah. I can't believe that this is the last night of our tour." Stan nodded in agreement. John said, "Well, it's time to get up there. Let's give it all we got!" The Devil Wants Peace gave an astounding performance. At the end of the concert, Allen said, "We have come to the end of our concert. wewe were all so wonderful. Thank wewe for your upendo and support. Thank wewe and good night!" Peter said, "It was an honor to perform for all of you. We had a wonderful time. We'll see wewe inayofuata time!" Stan then said, "We upendo you! Good night!" John was the last to speak to the audience. He said, "You've been wonderful, and we hope to see wewe in our inayofuata tour!" The inayofuata morning, John, Allen, Peter, and Stan were boarding the plane, ready to return to Portland, Oregon. When they arrived, John alisema to his mates, "I enjoyed this tour, but I think that we should take a brief hiatus." Allen said, "I agree. I think we should take some time to rest before we go back in the studio." Peter said, "I think so, too, and maybe while we're on hiatus, great songs will come to us." Stan once again nodded in agreement. Once everything was settled, the foursome went to their homes, promising to return to the studio with songs to work on.

No Stable Place
Aside from Uncle Bob, the only other family members who paid me any mind were my grandparents. My grandfather passed away about a mwaka and a half after my father's untimely death. My grandmother lived until I started high school. When she was alive, I could always go to her with a problem. Every time I would have a bad siku at school, I would go to her. She would say, "Tell me what's wrong, John." I would tell her what was wrong, and she would make everything better. When she passed away when I started high school, I was devastated. Now I had no one to go to when I had a bad day. That's when my record listening became zaidi frequent. Other than my dog, Beatle, it was my only chanzo of comfort. I really missed having a person to talk to. I missed having someone who listened to me. When he wasn't working, I could call Uncle Bob and talk to him, but it wasn't the same. Grandma seemed to have an answer for everything. Nobody else seemed to have that gift.
