I do know that I cannot push something uphill with a rope. However, at one point as a small child, I was probably pulling and pushing on things, where I gained experience on what would and would not work. Experince and deduction are valuable tools.

Experiences from life is the best way to abtain knowledge,sure you can read books/etc but life experience is the best tool of knowledge, learning and education :)

And some of my knowledge comes indirectly from my (and other people's) experiences. It's called inductive reasoning, and it's assessing the likelihood of an outcome for a new situation based on similar experiences that I've already had (or learned about).

Knowledge and wisdom are two entirely different things. Knowledge comes from experience, but only a few people possess true wisdom.
