The world is cruel place,
the world is damned.
wewe hide your fear and
think you're safe.
But fear finds everyone
sooner au later.
wewe hide your feelings
not to be hurt.
wewe lock your heart
not to feel.
wewe choose the words
covered with lies,
since the truth might
lead to repentance.

So wewe run to where
wewe find your peace.
wewe run there to find
your comfort.

The place of your own
creation,
place full of hope,
your shelter.

In there you're alive,
in the place
of your mind.
The place where you
release all your desires,
place where wewe hide
from your own failures.

When wewe left for your flight
I was here left alone
in the dark unwelcoming home
missing
how wewe would talk, walk, and do silly things.
I stride down the hall.
playing with my
rubber ball. what else is there
to do? but then i remembered
wewe alisema “See wewe soon”
my stomach turned to butterflies
I flew across my chair
awaiting your very arrival
there was nothing i couldn’t bear.
without a care
I called leaving ten million messages at the most.
waiting waiting
till wewe would come home

I took this sorrow
As if I've been
Rewarded for the
Deeds I've never done;
I took this sorrow
To shine
When nights are too dark,
When moon is not there;

Oh, to shine
In my cryin' eyes,
To shine
On my sleepy face
This
Transparent tear;

And while the whole world
Is sleeping,
This lonely tear
Will stay
At the corner
Of my weakness,
Away at sea
Where my sun goes down.

~ I know, it's a little short, however I found some time to write this poem.
I actually needed it, I upendo to share emotions and thoughts on paper. ~
Poetry and words are eternal!

Fancy?
Me?
I don’t think so.
I got hole-filled
baggy, paint-stained pants
I got manners
I really do
But I don’t do fancy,
I’m tellin’ you
I play video games
watchin’ TV
Fancy, me?
No wewe see.
I eat pork chops
on the couch.
When I’m excited
I stand and shout
I yawn and stretch
at 6 o clock
Fancy? Me?
wewe will be shocked
I eat klondikes
with my hands
I whip my hair
every blonde strand
Fancy? Me?
Uh, uh! No way!
I play and sweat
on sunny days
Fancy? Me?
No wewe see
I’m just me.

Unraveling, Twisting, Seeping
Diving
Swimming through the crimsom blood

In Mortem

Stealing,Running, Hiding
Ending painful, Ending Stiff

In Mortem

Hiding, Silence, Not a breath
Stalking it's prey, Death

In Mortem

Found, yet completely lost
Loved, Losing what was found

In Mortem

Breathing, Fainting, Dying
blueberry blood waiting to turn cherry

In Mortem

Slipping quietly
Fading, Faster, into the light

In Mortem

I'd offer wewe my hand,
But you'd pull me down!

Here, take it anyway,
You're worth it

In Mortem

Killing me,
Please don't leave me

wewe and I, we must go
Goodbye world

Fake?

Real?

What are you?

Are wewe a friend that stays forever?

Will wewe help me with life's problems?

Will wewe tease me?

Are wewe going to point out my flaws?

I don't know wewe anymore.

I thought wewe were real

Truly, really real

No.

I was wrong

So

So wrong.

I crash into my kitanda of comfort

Crying myself into solitude

Yet I bite back at your horrid barking

For it can never destroy me

Ignorant fool

wewe ignore me

Yet wewe pretend everything is okay

Why?

Because wewe are just as two faced as Harvey Dent

Why did I trust you?

wewe hurt me, so now the harm that wewe gave me

Will come back to haunt you, times three

Remember this:

"Do unto others, as wewe do unto them."

you've never made me feel so low
never broken me down so much
never made me feel so dead
yet still long for your touch

you've bullied me and beaten me
watched me as I've trembled
but still held the reins so tight
leaving wewe would seem unbearable

now you're the one who's leaving
and I feel like I'm falling apart
people think I'm crazy
because you're breaing my heart

looking at my future
I don't know what to do
my moyo won't ever heal
unless I'm back with you

maybe one siku I'll get over you
maybe I'll songesha on
but I'm never gonna know
the emotional damage wewe have done

wewe told me wewe upendo me
But wewe want out
wewe alisema we have no future
So why hang around

wewe ask what I want
Yet contradict what I say
You're using "whats best for me"
To get your own way

wewe say that wewe still want me
Then can't make up your mind
Yet I still hang on to us
Though we are on borrowed time

wewe make me feel secure
Then pull the rug from under me
I don't know where I stand
Are wewe listening to me?

You've reduced me to nothing
Made me feel everything
You're leaving me hanging
kwa not saying a thing

Slowly as she speaks, she walks with the
deep, moyo and body so sexy, her love
is full of grace, smiles shines with the sun if
known it was on her face.

Her body so warm with passion, her desire is
so meaningful. As to be loved, she was so graceful, deep
and souls powers her life even the sweet children says good
morning to her and good night.

The strengths and challenges takes me over. I got to
have her she is my Queen so bronze and bold, she is
the woman I want to hold. Even the acoustics rise me over.
She is my upendo forever as one...

Life is opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.

Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.

Life is a song, sing it.
Life is four words, jiunge together as one.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.

Life is too precious, don't destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

Stop and close your eyes.
Take a deep breathe and let it out.

Can wewe feel it?
The icy cold wind rushing
Through your hair as wewe run through
A vast field of nyasi and flowers,
Calling out to your Marafiki
“Hey wait for me!”
The sun is telling wewe things to bring back that
Pocket-sized warmth wewe
Get from a hug.

In the wide open space where a
Yellow sangara will
Jump out of the lake that was
Made kwa a melted glacier
And maybe a moose will cross
Your path while wewe sit in you’re new
Sundress and take all in.

Can wewe see it?
Those mountains in the distance
Filling up the space around you

Touch the water...

Once lived a girl, pretty and smart
there was a boy who played with her heart.
She let him, she thought she was in love,
But when she opened her eyes he was above.
Cheating and lying the entire time.
The girl now, is left behind.
He left her on a cold rainy night.
She's now fearing for her life.
Afraid to find love, all hope was lost.
Sitting in a corner, she had been tossed.
A nice gentleman came up beside her.
They alisema a few things, they drank some sider.
Now they live together.
As happy as could be.
But the jerk that cheated is now on his knees.
Seeing the nice girl he lost,
Is now married with the cost of money,
He looked down, he Lost his love, he Lost his honey</3

We were born into this world
Without a book of rules.
We have to make the rules ourselves,
But we don't get a book to write in.

No rules to guide us.
No rules to say stop.
No rules to ask the maswali to.
No rules to prevent the heartbreaks.
No rules to stop the tears.

No rules to guide us,
To tell us what to study
And do after school.

No rules to say stop,
To close your mouth
To stop wewe from saying
Things wewe shouldn't.

No rules to ask the maswali to,
I have maswali to ask
siku in and siku out.

No rules to prevent the heartbreak,
To tell wewe the person's not right,
To tell wewe you're going to far,
To tell wewe your moyo will bUrUeUaUkM

No rules to stop the tears.
When wewe feel like crying
For most of the day
And when you're alone
And wish your special person was here.

No rules to tell wewe if it's real love
I hope he loves me
In the way I upendo him
Otherwise I will die of sorrow.

We were born into this world
Without a book of rules.

A Child's Mind

A child's mind is so soft a clay
mold it to into anything wewe may
it's tender and innocent so, for the moment
let it free to play!

Nothing does it know, of the Life's Dirty Play
For it life is all Bright and Gay
It is True, Sweet and Pure
But the way it is, Let it stay!

For in this world of misery and grief
To my mind is a relief,
that a Temple of Innocence
in the world still does exist!

Hope wewe like it, I've ilitumwa it in my blog too :) - link

We all have shame,
When we hide it.
We all want fame,
No one can deny it.

A wonderful world,
We all can see.
Although our vision may be curled,
Of what we want to be.

Even if wewe think,
wewe may not always think right.
Dont let your visions sink,
Let them shine bright.

I stand and watch wewe from afar,
I see wewe laugh,
I see wewe smile,
I see wewe as who wewe really are.

I try to get close to you
but wewe push me away.
I try to be there for you
but wewe don't want me to stay.

wewe always come to your friends
when you've got nowhere to go.
And when they betray you,
That's the only time you'll see Me.

Even though wewe hurt Me often,
I know wewe don't mean it.
If it's for your sake,
My moyo would soften
because I'll upendo you,and I mean it.

ontop of it,
first class women in lace.

Stewards at every turn,
their job,

Most advanced the ship maybe,
An Atlantic berg is on a killing
spree

SLASH!

Into the gut of my ship,
the berg goes,

saa after a hour,
lower my ship goes.

Into the freezing Atlantic,
people pounce,
The black abyss of water their only
sight

The paralyzing water robes every
ounce
of a young lads strength.

Whales of distress rise from the sea,
Hundreds of them,
Fitting together in perfect harmony.

The waters may freeze
any man au woman
in a breeze.

not sure if this is any good but thought I'd see what everyone thinks:

I gave wewe everything wewe asked for,
wewe gave me only what I'd need,
I gave wewe everything I had,
wewe took everything from me.

I wiped away your tears,
wewe laughed when I cried mine,
I was there for wewe constantly,
wewe gave me little time.

I gave wewe my heart,
wewe took it without a thought,
I protected wewe from hurt,
In return my hurt wewe caused.

I walked a lonely path,
When I was kwa your side,
wewe punished me for being,
My pain I could not hide.

wewe pushed me away,
After taken what wewe could,
My moyo now hardened forever,
No longer beating as it should.

The streets were lone, so was he
The winds were lone, so were the trees
Just walked with unequal steps
He drowned in lone ocean’s depth
Drowning, drowning hands up to touch the light
But neither can he swim nor can he fight
So beautiful was he, even in his gloom
The impressed Princess of ocean wished to give him a boon
“Oh man of earth tell me what wewe want
All I’ll do nothing I can’t”
“Lady what would be a loner’s desire?
My moyo is cold and wewe want to set it on fire”
“You know everyone has a wish au two
You don’t have any while others have it in queue”

A pittance in the kisima, chemchemi grants the wish of the good hearted
A single bud of rose
Petals flurished, a deep blood crimson only seen if the moon were upon it
A mess of thorns among a mangled wound
Its result not closely matching such a profound deepness
Not in wound, not in blood
A perfect bud
A perfect gift to the one who gifted him with her presence
Worthy of such a love
He returns to her
His eagerness stained kwa parched lips and teary eyes
Letting sadness well up within them and drop upon the granite stone
On his knees he drops his rose
It tumbles to the soft dirt
His eyes fall to her name
To his inscription upon her headstone
Loving mother, never to be forgotten
