When I first started playing Pokemon, I was 7 years old, and in first grade. I had just got my GameBoy Color, and I was very excited. So for a while I played games like Zelda and Super Mario, and other Nintendo classics. So for a while I was content. Then, a friend of mine brought his GameBoy over to my house. It turns out that he had just gotten the Pokemon dhahabu Version. He was already on his sekunde gym, and never stopped playing it. So naturally I wanted the game too. So I begged and pleaded with my parents who finally reluctantly bought it for me. I was very happy. So I began to play.

The inayofuata few months are a blur to my memory, because i was obsessed with the game. I never left nyumbani without it. I brought it to school, to Marafiki houses, and wherever my mom dragged me that year. So, slowly, I began to gather gym badges. I also started defeating Team Rocket, battling my rival, and exploring the world to complete my Pokedex. I did this, and was very content. But then suddenly, Team Rocket had been beaten, the gym leaders had fallen, and the Elite Four was a distant memory. So, I began to get bored. Then, one day, when I visited a Marafiki house, I discovered that I was only half way through the game. That another world lay just a short surf away from my hometown. I was very happy. so, I traveled back to the original world of pokemon. Kanto. where Ash had made his start, and there was another world of Pokemon. So, I explored it, gathered the Gym badges, and repeated everything I had done in Johto. It was great. So now, I was about nine years old, and finished with Pokemon. I was on my GameBoy Advance kwa now, because my GameBoy color was long gone, Lost somewhere unknown. So for a while, I forgot about Pokemon.

Pokemon barely crossed my mine for two years, as I began to play computer games, and I discovered Playstation, my beloved Nintendo's rival. I began to play Madden and StarWars, with Pokemon in the back of my head. Then, came krisimasi 2003. I really wanted a skateboard for that Christmas, which I got, but rode once. And then, to my suprise, I got a GameBoy Advance SP. This was the new GameBoy, which amazed me kwa its size and built in light. Now, I could play in the dark and didn't have to plug in that small light thing made for GameBoy.I was very happy. But with that GameBoy, I got the newest version of Pokemon, Sapphire. The graphics blew me away compared to dhahabu au Silver. I was astounded of how much detail there was in it. I was hooked once again to Pokemon. I played it all the time, and started to raise new Pokemon that had never been seen. It was great. This was one game I could never be bored with. So, while my Marafiki thought I was stupid to play Pokemon at age thirteen, I ignored them and kept clicking away.

So, I eventually beat the game. I was desperate for more, so I borrowed yellow from a friend. It was great. But the real point that I'm trying to make hear is that Pokemon will nver die. It will fade away and be forgotten, but then, when you're looking for socks under your bed, and wewe find the game, you'll say,"Wow, Pokemon was so great." And you'll start playing it again. And that's the truth.
