Again, no challengers AGAIN?! Ugh! Don't wewe hate it when you're the Champion and all the possibly worthwhile Trainers go off to travel other regions?! Well, most of wewe probably wouldn't know, most of wewe haven't been Champions.
Well, anyways, I'm Ophelia. I'm the Pokemon Champion of the Canndon region. I've been the Champ since I was 12. I'm 18 now. For six years no one has been able to beat me. Not to brag, but I am quite the Trainer.
It would probably be a good idea to tell wewe who my Pokemon are. I have in my posession Dusknoir, Leafeon, Riolu (who refuses to evolve), Misdreavus (who I refuse to evolve), Latias, and my best friend and Partner, Jirachi. I care for all my Pokemon as family, and they all have enjoyed the battling lifestyle.
...Except of course, Gardevoir.
My Gardevoir obviously was not the battling type. Once I finally understood the situation, I released Gardevoir, telling it to go be happy and do whatever it wanted to do. It was a sad goodbye, and was possibly one of the hardest things I've ever done. But I'm sure wherever she is, she's happy now.
As for my real family, I never knew my father... but my mother, Alana, is quirky and fun to be around. I also have a little sister, Gina. When I came nyumbani after defeating the Champion League, she cheered for me and was so excited to follow in my footsteps.
"I want to be just like wewe someday! Maybe one siku I'll even beat you!" she chattered, making me laugh.
...I haven't seen her since I was 14...
Gina did make an attempt at becoming a Trainer, but her timid boundaries kept her from getting far. When she met Alec, a Pokemon Ranger, everything changes for her. He introduced her to the evils in the world, and she decided to break free from her shell and become a Ranger alongside him.
An evil team under the name of Team DareDevil, tried to summon the Demon Duo, Rikabia and Hiraisho, to control and possibly destroy the world. Gina and Alec, the Canndon juu Rangers, went after their leader, Misoli.
However, Misoli captured Gina and held her hostage. It is alisema that Alec went after her to save her, but no one has seen Gina since. I think the worst has happened.
Alec, along with all other Rangers in Canndon, was able to stop Misoli's schemes, and bring peace back to the region. But...Gina never has come back. How I long to maybe see her again... if she's still alive...
Wait... is someone here?! A challenger?! No.. Let me see...

"Ophelia, are wewe in here?" the soft voice called out. Cynthia entered the room quietly, her expression serious.
"Yes, I'm right here," I replied, setting Leafeon on the floor and standing up.
"It's been quite a while, hasn't it?" she ametoa maoni with a small smile.
"It truly has. I haven't seen wewe since...since..." I stammered. "...since she...disappeared..." I finished, tears starting to sting at my eyes. I tried my absolute hardest to hold them in to keep my posture and reputation in tact, but failed and had tears suddenly streaming down my face. I fell to my knees, adding insult to injury.
Cynthia walked over and knelt down in front of me, trying to comfort me.
"I realize it's hard. I know what it's like... to miss someone... wewe were close to once..." she whispered sincerely, staring ahead blankly. I glanced up at her. She had a single tear freefalling down her face as well, but swiftly wiped it away, taking back her serious look. She quickly stood up, and picked me up off the floor.
"Now come on. It's been a long time since we've battled. Why not have one and cheer up a little?"
she offered.
I smiled weakly. "I would...enjoy that... but I won't lose..." I muttered, actually not believing my words due to my breakdown destroying my awali confidence.
"Good. Bring out your Pokemon," she beckoned, ready to start.
"Dusknoir, summon your powers!" I shouted, tossing his Poke Ball in the air. As he appeared on the dojo floor, I turned to look behind me. "Leafeon, summon your powers as well!" I exclaimed. Leafeon nodded, and jumped into the air, landing lightly onto the dojo stage.
"Go Garchomp and Spiritomb!" she shouted back. They both landed on the stage without missing a step. I cringed. I remembered that Garchomp well...it had actually attacked me once. But of course, it had been a misunderstanding... I held my head high, ready to overcome this challenge.
"Let the battle begin!"
