Today is the siku I feared. I didn't tell Miyako, Minoru, Momoko, nor Makoto that Katsou and I had to go together. Good thing I sorta prepared for this, though. All I just have to do is say that everybody forced us to go together, but I alisema to them that we'd only go as friends. For some reason, I got a strange feeling whenever I thought about what happened on Monday. Well, to get back on track, it was last period, about two dakika till the kengele was going to ring. I sat patently till it did, walked slowly to get home, and went to my room to get ready for the dance. After I was done, I was wearing a black and green dressy shati and dress pants. My hair was left the way it always is, messy. There is no way in this world that I'd comb my hair for some stupid dance! Then I realized that my amulet was visible so I tucked it in my shirt.
"Oh boy, prepare to be embarrassed tonight." I told myself. Then I heard a knock on the door.
"Kaoru? It's me, Katsou!" I went to the door and opened it. He was wearing a black suit and a tie. His hair was the same as always, too.
"Hey Katsou. Let's go to this stupid thing and get over with it." I told him.
"Ok, then, friend." He replied to me. We both left and went to the dance. When we got there, we saw that Miyako was with Minoru. I seen Chiyeko on the ceiling waving and smiled, then I went with Katsou to Miyako and Minoru.
"Hey, wewe guys. How are you?" Miyako greeted us.
"Ok." We answered.
"So, wewe two are going together? That's new." Minoru said.
"You can blame the class. They annoyed us on Monday, making us say that we'd go. But as Marafiki only." Katsou answered.
"So, wewe two are going together, right?"
"Yep! We are going as friends, too." Miyako giggled. We all went to the snack bar. Then we saw Momoko and Makoto. "Hey, wewe guys!" Miyako called over. They noticed us, smiled, and came over.
"So, what's up?" Makoto asked.
"Nothing much, wewe two." Katsou answered. After a while of talking, the muziki changed from hip hop to jazz. We continued to talk when my breath was starting to get visible. "Kaoru, why is your breath visible?" Katsou asked, confused. I looked at my stone, but it wasn't glowing. Then we heard someone scream. We looked at each other, and ran into the hallway to transform. Momoko turned into Blossom, Miyako turned into Bubbles, Makoto turned into Red Candy, Minoru turned into Blue Bubbler, Katsou turned into Green Wonder, and I turned into Buttercup. We went back into the cafeteria to see the kids rounded up kwa twenty people.
"Hey! What do wewe think you're doing?! And who are you?!" Blossom shouted. They turned to see us.
"We are here to bite them, and wewe six will jiunge them." a pink haired on cackled.
"No! In fact, nobody gets hurt on my watch!" I shouted. As I did, my breathe became visible again. The intruders looked at me in fear.
"Let's go, now!" alisema the pink haired one. "Before zaidi of her kind onyesha up." They all left. My Marafiki and I all went back into the hallway to transform back to normal, then snuck back into the the cafeteria. When the dance ended, we parted our ways. I was walking nyumbani when my breathe was visible for the third time.
"Why is this happening to me? Why is my breathe visible?" I wondered. Then my phone rang. "Hello?"
"Hello Kaoru! It's me, your mom. I am coming nyumbani tomorrow." My mom said.
"At what time mom? I can't wait!" I asked.
"At eight pm. May wewe please be at the airport tomorrow?" she explained.
"I don't mind. I will bring my Marafiki to introduce to you." I announced. She alisema that was fine. After we alisema bye to each other, I hung up. "I can't wait to get nyumbani to bed!" I yawned. Then I heard a noise behind me. My breathe was visible again. "Who's there?" I questioned. A girl came out of her hiding place.
"Hello. Are wewe a hunter?" the girl asked timidly. I shook my head no and she sighed.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"My name is Haruko Matsumoto." she told me. "What is yours?"
"Mine is Kaoru Matsubara. Nice to meet you." I said. Her eyes went wide. "What?" I asked. Then I realized something. I laughed. "Oh I get it now. Our last names are similar! I need to pay attention zaidi often. I'm such a goof! So, are wewe going to my school, Pine Oaks, on Monday?" she nodded. "Cool! You'll upendo it there! They have great teachers, students, and pizza!" I checked my watch. "Oh, great! The soccer game started! See ya!" I ran to my house and turned on the TV. I watched the soccer game till I fell asleep.
