Mario has never explicitly expressed an interest in her, nor has daisy to him. In Mario Party 5, Mario and daisy are aliyopewa the team name "Nice Couple" when paired together, while they do not share player chemistry at all in Mario Superstar Baseball and in Mario Super Sluggers.
