I know right? I read that you should try not to use many adverbs when dealing with character's emotions. Just decribe their actions like "he balled his hands into a fist." Or "she recoiled with tears in her eyes"

I use several different styles, depending on the story. My first roleplay, Harry Potter Canon RP, is this style. A dragon roleplay uses first-person narration. And a different Harry Potter one uses third person. So, yeah. I've used them all
