Before fame- Before fame Cody was in collage studying major in classical clarinet. In high school he met former band member Dan Cerlmont, they where each in the the school's marching band.
Family life and birthdate- Cody was born in Florida United States (U.S) January 9th 1989. His father died of cancer, Cody and Dan wrote a song about Cody's dad called Dad's Song, it took them 4 years to write because Cody wanted it to be perfect for his dad.
Associated with- He asked the lead singer (Alex Gaskarth) of the band 'All time low' if he could sing on stage during a live onyesha of theirs and put his proformace on YouTube so he could get better known and see if people thought he had talent.
