I, personally, don't think either is worse than the other. Cheating is cheating and either way it's wrong.

True. Cheating is wrong. However, i believe the feeling of being cheated on is worse than actually witnessing getting cheated on because if you see your significant other sleeping with your best friend for example is nowhere as painful as the FEAR of being cheated on. This fear of being replaced comes from seeing the 2 of them together which probably explains why most people think that if you're talking to a member of the opposite sex means that you're cheating on your significant other. This fear builds up over time and the sight of being cheated on is practically instantaneous. This is my reasoning behind my choice.

I think it depends. I think sexual cheating can be worse than emotional cheating because sexual cheating is going farther physically. But I also think emotional cheating can be worse than sexual cheating because some people who cheat sexually might only be doing so for the sexual pleasure, while emotional cheating indicates that the cheating partner has emotionally checked out of the relationship/marriage.

Both forms of cheating are messed up, but I think it would hurt more for me if I caught my boyfriend/girlfriend having sex with another boy/girl.
