BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
Sonic imediately slams the snooze button on his alarm clock and literally jumped out of his bed. Sonic ran over to Tails's room. Once he got there, he yelled "Wake up, Tails! Today's the camping trip!"
"*yawn*..... Okay Sonic just let me pack first..."
"....Ya mean wewe didn't pack already? I told wewe to so we wouldn't have to worry about it when we woke up! Hurry up and pack. I'll be waiting outside." With that, Sonic grabbed his backpack and quickly ran outside.
"Let's see, I'll need to pack some snacks, a sleeping bag, and the tent..." Tails mu bled to himself while digging through his closet to find his backpack. Tails stopped thinking for a moment, listening for any sudden movements. He could've swarn that he heard someone walking in his room. When turned arouund, he carefully scanned the room. No one was there. Confused, he shrugged and continued looking for his backpack. "Finally! I found it!" He yelled louder than he meant to. Right when he turned around, he came face to face with some strange black figure. Terrified, he ran out of his room, quickly grabbed snacks from the fridge, grabbed his tent and sleeping bag from the storage closet,and left out the door. His moyo was still pounding so hard and he was breathing heavily from running so fast.
Sonic seemed to notice this. "Are wewe alright?" Sonic asked, confused.
"Uh... Yeah! I'm fine!" Tails alisema timidly. He paused for a second. "So, where are going to camp at?"
"It's a suprise! What are we waiting for?! Let's go!" Sonic grabbed Tails's hand without warning and sped off at the speed of sound.
"AAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!! SONIC!!! I TOLD wewe TO STOP DOING THAT!!!!" Tails yelled, both angry and scared. He began thinking of the strange blacj figure he saw. "Who was that? I wish I got a better glimpse of it. What did it want from me? What if it's after me for some reason......... What if it's after Sonic?!"
