Horror flashed through in my eyes as I remembered what had occured only moments before. I had returned nyumbani after seeing Nightstar, only to find my father waiting for me. I had realzied for the first time, that I was expecting kits, and now my father Ozone, was heading strait for my mate, Nightstar!
I have to save him, I thought desperatly, but how can I? The forest seemed to engulf me, dark shadows seemed to creep beside me as I ran.
Then I herd a shriek, my ears prickled up and my eyes widend with fear, as I reconized the shriek of Nightstar. I was too late!
As I reached the river, I saw the black pelt of my father Ozone, he was on Nightstars back, his claws sliced through Nightstars shoulders and his teeth were grasped firmly in Nightstars neck. Nightstar wiggled helplessly under the huge toms weight. I could tell that Ozones teeth, were sinking farther in Nightstars neck. I had to react quickly but carefully!
I yowled out a battle cry, and launched myself into the fude. kwa now, many of our small group had appeared from the forest to watch the fight. I grasped my teeth firmly into Ozones shoulder. My father let out a gasp of surprise, and released his grip in the back of Nightstars neck.
Nightstar leaped a couple inches away from Ozone but to my surprise, he didnt try to run, he faced Ozone like a true hero.
Ozone glared at me, his amber eyes seemed to turn bloody red in the darkness of the forest. Storm clouds gathered in the sky, and thunder sounded over head, as lighning flashed in the darkness.
Ozone didnt even flinch to any of it, his amber eyes had a hunger for flesh and his claws flexed in and out.
"Traitor" he yowled, "you betrayed your group because of this lower class member" Ozone snarled, pointing to Nightstar. "Touch me again and wewe will not live to see another day" my father snarled at me.
I saw my mother, Wind appear from the throng of Cats watching the fight. "Ozone, surley there is no need for this" she pleaded to her mate. Ozone glared at her then launched himself back at Nightstar.
Nightstar, obviously exhosted from the first fight, tried to flee but Ozone was to fast, he pinned Nightstar to the ground and placed one giant paw on the back of Nightstars throat.
Nightstar flailed under the large toms weight, but couldnt break free.
I watched in horror, confusion engulfed my thoughts. Should I help Nightstar? Should I watch him die? But Nightstars the reason this all happened! But I accepted his offer! So was this all my fault? If I do help him then what will become of me?
Suddenly, one of the watching Cats in the crowed launched himself at Ozone, and bowed my father over with a strond head but. I reconized the sleek brown pelt of Nightstars brother, Skyhawk.
Skyhawk stood glaring at Ozone with bristling fur, manyoya as he put himself between Ozone and Nightstar.
Nightstar struggled to his paws, but once on his paws he too, faced Ozone, with his sturdy mussles and determination.
Ozone attacked both toms but he was worn out, and Skyhawk and Nightstar quickly began to over power him. Then some of the watching Cats launched themselves in the battle, then more, and more, until every cat in the group was fighting.
I stared around, my head quickly turning from side to side in confusion. I wondered where Nightstar was? And where were my littermates! I stared around desperatly, the relief sparkled in my green eyes as I saw my brother Crow, he was battling fouriously with another tom, but I wondered if he was fighting with Nightstar and Skyhawk, au against them?
Then I noticed Tidepool struggling fouriously under the weight of another tom cat, he was twice her size, suddenly Wave popped out of know where and slashed one of her claws across the toms cheek. He yowled in pain and dissopeared through the fighting cats.
Then a tom cat raced out of the other fighting Cats towards me. I bristled my fur, manyoya and bared my teeth ready to defend myself until I realized it was Nightstar!
He was covered in blood, it oosed down his sides, flank, and the juu of his neck where Ozone had bit him. "Run" Nightstar yowled, "There coming! I heard them talking! There planning to kill wewe because they think your responsible for all of this! Run" he yowled.
I began to run as fast as I could away until I froze and looked back at Nightstar. "But what about you" I objected.
"Run, I'll meet wewe soon!"
"But where?"
"At the gordge! Where the river is at its highest! Now run!"
I turned around and dashed away without another word. I didnt stop running, even when I was far out of sight and scent of the area.
I only slowed my pace, once I reached the gorge. I found a large blue-berry bush. It reminded me of the one that Nightstar and I had shelted in while we met in secrecy.
I crawled under it and curled up, my paws felt soar and I knew my pads were bleeding but I was to exhosted to lick them clean.

i padded out of camp running torawrds my pond i sat there and listened to wat sunstar had to say then i walked to the border and sat there thinking as a she cat padded up to me and pointed at the sun and i nodded knowing wat she meant we started to kuvuka, msalaba borders then we stopped and i heard her mutter were Lost i shake my head and lead her to my pond as we gathered information from sunstar and we crossed a river and sat in a cave as she was catching freshkill i made our beds i went to the river and dipped some moss in it so wed have water and i padded back as she alisema good job and nodded at me as i carried some feathers and lined our nests with it i watched her as she messed with the brambles at the entrance making it where it was salama and protected from foxes and badgers i taped her on the shoulder and she nodded as i padded through a crack in the ukuta and came back with strengthing herbs(will it continue,or will they be found?)
