I stalked through the brambles, i was hunting a panya, kipanya when the sound of cracking leaves behind me, made it shoot down a bold hole in cover. I growled and with a hiss of annoyance rose to my paws a swivled around, to see what had scared off my prey. To my surprise, it was a cat. A black tom with blazing blue eyes, and star's around his paws, on his flank, and even sparkling in his dark night-sky eyes. I stood strait and let my fur, manyoya lie flat. "Nightstar" I exclaimed in surprise, "As in THE Nightstar? Where have wewe been! Its been moons since I've last seen you?!" Then I realized, I was dreaming. Nightstar purred as he sat with his tail curled around his star-glimmering paws. "Its good to see wewe again too, Pinegrowth, I have a message from StarClan." I smiled, "a message? Cant wewe ever come kwa just to say, hi?" I joked. "Your not being serious, Pinegrowth" he lashed his tail. Pinegrowth rolled her eyes, "Im NEVER serious Nightstar" she laughed then stopped as she realized Nightstar's message must have been urgent. "Pinegrowth, wewe MUST have an apprentace!" He hissed. I took a step back from his agression, Nightstar was usually so friendly and always enjoyed sharing tounges with her, but now he seemed on edge........Pinegrowth didnt like it, one bit. "I-I already have an apprentace! wewe know that!" I objected. "i dont care! Lostkits destiny is to become the inayofuata medicane cat! Do your duty Pinegrowth!" he hissed. "Like my mentor did?!" I challenged. In a flash of light, Nightstar vanished and I opened my eyes to the waking world.
