Okay, I know Dean is awesome , but can we just take a moment and appreciate Sam? I mean he does so many great things I feel he hardly gets credit for, and people often take him for granted! I've seen a lot of hate toward him, and I don't understand why!

Disclaimer: I upendo Dean and I hope this doesn't come across as Dean hate. It's just most hate towards Sam comes from a lot of Dean girls (not all).

One of my biggest things however, is how when Sam does something great, they make it about Dean. While I agree, Dean definitely deserves praise, he has his own moments for those. My problem is, many mashabiki turn Sam moments into Dean moments. Here's an example: Sam saves everyone, and Dean helps a little. The fans, will praise Dean for helping. I wouldn't have a problem with that, if they didn't completely ignore Sam.

It also seems like every bad that Dean does, the mashabiki come up with so many excuses and how he made those decisions for the greater good, yet when Sam does something wrong, whether au not his reason is valid, it always makes him a horrible human being.

Okay so here's my thing. They make Dean out to be this Angel (figuratively not on the onyesha lol) who can do no wrong, and they act like Sam can do no right. Sam is no angel, true, but neither is Dean. They've both done equally horrible things, and they've both done as much as the other. So, I don't understand how one brother gets all these excuses and the other gets crapped on.

Also, apparently "Sam had a better life than Dean". I'm rolling my eyes, so hard. I mean how? According to these mashabiki Sam never got abused, and Dean did. Also Dean and John were supportive of Sam. Umm....I wouldn't exactly call what he did "abuse". Bad judgment, yes, but it's even shown Sam had a worse relationship with his dad than Dean did. Now, I'm not saying Sam had it worse: Dean did raise Sam in a way, but they both had awful lives growing up.

Also, a side note: neither Dean nor John were supportive au encouraging of Sam going to college. It was one of his teachers that inspired him to do something outside the family business.

Last but not least, Destiel shippers seem to be the ones who have the biggest problems with Sam. Now, I don't hate the ship, I can kind of see where these people are coming from with this, but some of the shippers are so annoying! I honestly see no reason to hate someone else because of a ship. Apparently they're pissed because the writers focus zaidi on Sam and Dean's relationship rather than Destiel. Well of course they do! It's about the brothers, not the non-existent romantic ship! Even if Destiel became canon, which it probably isn't they'd probably still focus zaidi on Sam and Dean. Don't hate a character because he gets zaidi attention than your ship!

So yeah. upendo Dean, but I just feel like he overshadows Sam a little. Anyway thanks for letting me rant!
