Thats a mean question!! Why would you ask that? That would be like me saying to you "Water or Air?" You need both of them in your life to survive. However How I Met Your Mother is still making new episodes and that is legendary. I don't think you can really compare them though, people think they are the same but I just don't see it.

Friends, but How I Met Your Mother is the next best "friend" themed sitcom. Seriously, wouldn't I love for HIMYM to go on for 10 seasons like Friends did.

But it'd be a bit sad if Ted is STILL telling his kids about how he met their mother 10 years on. If I were them I'd start suspecting I was adopted or he was gay or something and he was just telling these stories to stall while he was worked out how to confess the truth to me.

When I made this pick I hadn't watch HIMYM yet, but everybody said that was the next Friends (that I loved/love), that they were the same...
Now that I'm a HIMYM AND Friends fan, I can say that they're NOT the same, but I still love both
