No matter what you got, not a lot...so what?

What ever happened to good televisheni onyesha theme songs? These days it's all unoriginal reused pop songs au just some instrumental filler muziki over credits. Some huge hit shows don't have any intro muziki at all like Heroes au just an echoing drum beat like Lost. Gone are the days of classic TV onyesha theme songs that you'd sing along to because wewe knew every single word. I can still rap along with the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Most of my inayopendelewa theme songs were from sitcoms. In a moment of nostalgia, I thought I'd throw together a orodha of some of my inayopendelewa 80s sitcom theme songs in no particular order because I just happen to upendo them all (click on the name for the video):

Gypsy I like the Golden Girls one as well "Thank you for being a friend, travel down the road and back again, your heart is true, you're a pal and a confidante." So true.

Quiztzhadrch Hell to the yeah! The catchy theme song and snappy lyrics have always helped viewers form a special connection with the shows characters! Consider the wacky, bluesy first few bars of the Sanford & Son show. I hear those first few notes and I can see ol'man Sanford wailin' for Elizabeth and gesticulating around his livingroom set. Or how about All in the Family? When Archie Bunker and his wifey pounded out the theme song on their livingroom piano you could more easily believe the in the authenticity of the character and thusly enjoy the show enveloped in a deeper level of familiarity. The Love Boat, Happy Days, Cheers, Welcome back Kotter, Laverne & Shirley, so many of them! Not to mention the cartoons! I say bring back the theme song for sitcoms and shows!
