If you haven\'t been keeping up to date with what\'s been going on with the Marvel Studios television shows, you might want to fix that in the next three months. After all, it\'s now been rumored that Joss Whedon\'s upcoming summer blockbuster

will include a special appearance from the cast of

- specifically Ming-Na Wen\'s Melinda May, Chloe Bennet\'s Skye, and, of course, Clark Gregg\'s Phil Coulson.

According to the claims of a Reddit user going by the unambiguous handle, "the_marvel_intern", it seems that certain cast members from TV�s

Marvel�s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be showing up in the impending super-team sequel. Still haven�t quite warmed up to the gang on Agents? Well, our alleged whistleblower of wanton secrets has made the following claim, which we will preface by saying are completely

In Age of Ultron, cast of Agents Of Shield show up. May, Daisy, Coulson, etc."

Of course, "May" refers to the show�s resident ass-kicking motherly figure, Agent Melinda May, played by Ming-Na Wen. "Daisy" is actually an updated reference to the show�s most recent revelation that Chloe Bennet�s resident wise-crackly hacker, Skye is actually seismic-powered Marvel Comics character, Daisy Johnson, aka Quake. Additionally, the implied return of Clark Gregg�s Agent Phil Coulson to the Marvel films is hinted, essentially undoing one of the more prolific moments in 2012�s first

With the addition of "etc," there also seems to be a hint of even more Agents cast members showing up in the film. Could there be a role for Agents Fitz and Simmons? Or, perhaps could this be as good an opportunity as any to introduce Adrianne Palicki�s Agent Bobbi Morse, aka Mockingbird into the film series? Maybe even Patton Oswalt�s hilarious turn as the Koenig twins could have a place for a few quick "lanyard" jokes in Age of Ultron?

If this rumor proves true, then it is highly unlikely that the Agents cast members will play a significant role in the plot. However, cameos would be a vitally important gift to serve to the show, which began so auspiciously, only to see its audience start to erode. The show came back for a second season, retooled and refocused and it has managed to utilize its ties to the Marvel Cinematic Universe a lot more effectively than it did in season 1. It just might be cool to have hopes in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. again and to have it officially christened with cast member cameos in Age of Ultron would undoubtedly send the message loud and clear that this show IS "Marvel TV."

Again, these are all sordid unconfirmed rumors that statistically end up proven untrue. However, every now and then, a grain of truth tends to slip through the filters, which is why we�re here to report this stuff.

Marvel�s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. looks to recontextualize its characters into far more interesting forms when it returns from its winter hiatus on March 3.
