Soneta78 God works in such mysterious ways. Shug was sent by God to Ms. Celie. If it was not for Shug, Celie would have never ever found them letters. Them letters gave her courage. Love is not A healer it is THE healer. Once someone knows they are sincerely loved it changes everything. Once she knew someone loved her, she felt like somebody and was able to stand up for herself. God's timing is always the best timing. Amen
