I tried my best. But, how could I do this? I hated what has happened to humanity today. I didn't want to be a part of it anymore. I got bitten, and there was nothing anyone could do about it. My arm throbbed where the zombie had grabbed on with strong arms and clenched down, crushing my bone. Without a sekunde thought, I pointed my gun to its head, and pulled the trigger. The zombie that destroyed my life fell to the ground, blood pooling around its deformed head. I fell to the ground, screaming. I saw a figure threw the deep fog run to me with his gun pointing straight at the horde of zombies behind me. "Help me, please!" I screamed in pure pain. The figure shot the zombies down behind me with great accuracy and stood over me. His figure was rather small, quirky in a cute kind of way. "That's a nasty bite wewe got there, Ms." he alisema properly. I held my arm and looked over to see blood gushing from the wound, turning black in the process. I began to shake, watching him bend down to me so I could see his face. He was actually very handsome, buff looking at a closer view. He had blue-green eyes, dirty blonde hair, and huge dimples when he smiled. "Well, I'm injured and can't move, so I need some help," I alisema calmly. "Ok, love. How about I carry you?" the man asked suddenly. I nodded, questioning if I should trust this man au not. The man out his arms underneath my whole body and lifted me upwards quickly, shoving his small hand pistol into his back pocket. "My name is Niklaus kwa the way, but call me Klaus," the man said. "My name is Hunter," I replied in a smooth tone. " Pretty name, and also in a few sekunde wewe are most likely going to pass out from the wound," Klaus alisema looking at me. I went to protest that I felt fine, but I felt dizzy. There was a quick flash of light and then I woke up in a small room. I sat up quickly, afraid of what I might find. "Hey! Klaus where are you?" I screamed worried. "Calm down, sweetheart! I'm right here," Klaus yelled from another room. I felt a huge wave of relief flow over me. The room I was in was terribly small, grey, and had a barred window. I got up and limped my way to the mysterious window that caught my attention. I looked outside to see zaidi than 100 zombies crawling everywhere. I screamed loudly as one noticed me, I fell backwards. I was prepared to hit the cold hard ground, when I was caught in sturdy hands. "It's ok, love. They can't get in, you're safe," Klaus alisema in a soothing voice. I nodded and was placed back down to get some zaidi rest.

Klaus's POV:
I watched her sleep while I reloaded my pistol. She was beautiful, her brown hair in a messy ponytail, her brown eyes staring at me, and her ripped clothes were a defiant turn on. I licked my lips before leaving the room. My old boots stomped hard against the ground as I stomped into the living room. A zombie had pushed its way in, and I gasped.

Hunter's POV:
I heard a loud scream and jolted awake quickly. What was that? I ran into the living room to see Klaus lying on the withal zombie on juu of him. Without thinking, I exploded into the air, landing on the zombies's back. I couldn't watch another one of my Marafiki be ripped apart. "Never again!" I screamed loudly. Klaus climbed out from underneath as I wrapped my hands around the zombies neck. The zombie stood up and moaned loudly. My instincts screamed at me to run, but I couldn't leave him. The glisten of a kisu lying on the floor caught my attention as I wrangled the zombie to the floor. I grabbed it quickly, my hands shaking as the zombie wailed. I stuck the tip of the kisu into his head before I was pushed off and landed directly on Klaus. I rolled onto my back as I was grabbed again and slammed to the floor. Pain exploded into every part of my body. I grabbed the kisu which was still in his head and stuck it into the zombie's soft neck. Blood spurted and it fell to the ground. I laid there panting heavily and unevenly. "Thank you, love," Klaus alisema sounding worse than me. I shook at the sound of his voice, and I had no idea why.
We sat there eating potato chips. I looked at the ground as I ate one slowly and carefully, as though it might be my last meal, which in reality it actually could be. "Hey I got an old radio to start working again, how about we turn it on?" Klaus asked breaking the awkward silence. I nodded as he got up and a few sekunde later came back with a dusty radio. He clicked it on and a man's voice came on, " Everyone the plague has spread to Paris and Europe! We are trying to hold them off, but there is too many! God help our souls!" Klaus shot me a look and switched the channel to another station. "Baby I can see your Halo, wewe know you're my saving grace!" was played loudly. Halo kwa Beyonce, I thought. The song continued playing as a new one came on, "Here I am waiting, I’ll have to leave soon, why am I holding on?,We knew this siku would come, we knew it all along. How did it come so fast? This is our last night, but it’s late and I’m trying’ not to sleep. ‘Cuz I know, when I wake I will have to slip away." That song sounded fairly new, but seemed to explain the situation Klaus and I were in. I tapped my foot as the song continued. Klaus took notice and grabbed my hand, pulling me into the middle of the room. We danced crazily for a couple dakika before we turned to each other. I have no clue why, but I leaned my forehead onto his, and he pushed back. We both closed our eyes and breathed heavily. I wanted to kiss him so badly, but knew I just couldn't yet. I pulled away and his head tilted mbele because he was non expectant of me to songesha back. I felt horrible seeing his head flop mbele like that! So I had to to make up for it somehow, I lifted his head up kwa his chin and lightly kissed him. I knew this wasn't the time to get soft, but he was so sweet. His smile consumed me, making me blush hard. "Don't be afraid to feel, sweetheart. Just one step at a time, love," and with that he walked away.

Klaus's POV:
I kissed her au she kissed me, I'm not really sure. I regret ever living through this life full of death and regret, but if this never happened, I wouldn't of met Hunter. The way she leaned her forehead into mine was the most tempting action anyone has ever played on me. And what did I do, I walked away, like I have done my whole life.

Hunter's POV:
I sat there in the living room listening to the radio. Whatever came on, I thought of Klaus. Until I Won't Back Down came on, then I thought of the dead souls outside. I snarled as one banged on the window, moaning and groaning. "Shut up!" I yelled. The zombies roared in reply and suddenly, the whole ukuta came crashing to the ground. I jumped up and grabbed the nearest pistol. "K-Klaus!" I screamed as loud as I could. He came sprinting in with a machine gun. My mouth dropped. I looked at the zombies to see at least a thousand pouring into our salama house. I looked at Klaus, " There's way too many! C'mon we have to go!" I said. He nodded and shot the machine gun a few times before we ran out the door. A big red truck awaited out arrival. Out of nowhere, a zombie body slammed into me. I flew into Klaus as he shot the zombie down. I landed straight below him, with him on top. This position was incredibly awkward so I went to songesha out from underneath him, but he took his hand and gently moved a hair out of my eye. I was trapped underneath him. He smirked and leaned forward, and stopped right when he heard a scream. We both looked over to see zombies sprinting towards us. Klaus grabbed me and pulled me into the truck. Thankfully, it started up quickly and we drove off.
"That was so scary," I alisema after five hours of driving. "Where are we going?" I asked. Klaus looked at me, "To Signal Hill, that's where the radio alisema to go. I heard it was a salama town that's all closed in, we'll go there and try to find somewhere to live." I nodded and looked out the window. Dust covered the ground, floating upwards as we drove. I felt a hand grab mine and knew it was Klaus. I relaxed and twisted my fingers into his as he turned on the radio. Daylight came on again and I couldn't stand how similar our situation was to this song. I leaned over to Klaus driving and he slowly stopped. "What is-" Klaus asked as I kissed him. His face was zaidi surprised than I was. The kiss was short and easy, just a peck but a little more. I relaxed and he started driving again, but this time he smirked as he looked at me. "What was that about?" He asked. I gave him that evil look, "You know exactly what that was about, Klaus." He smiled larger, "I upendo it when wewe say my name."
I turned over on my side and stared out the window. A large grey field stretched over miles. It suddenly became cold and I started to shake. I saw Klaus look over at me, examining how I was doing. "I'm getting tired, and wewe are too. Let's rest for the night, there are no zombies around," Klaus said. I nodded as I yawned and closed my tired eyes. I still shook as he parked the car on the side of the dirt path. I looked quickly outside that we were on a forest path. Tall pine trees closed around us and I felt something I haven't felt in a long time, I felt safe.
"You should hop in the back with me, its warmer back here," Klaus alisema from the back seat. I looked over at him, " I don't know if I should." He just shrugged and patted the room on the kiti, kiti cha inayofuata to him. I normally would've shook my head, but it was so cold I couldn't resist the temptation of somewhere warm. I jumped in the back kiti, kiti cha and he immediately wrapped his arms around me. I pushed my face into his chest as he leaned his head on juu of mine. "There, there love. It'll be all over soon. How about I tell wewe a story as it snows outside?" Klaus asked while looking out the window. I carefully moved away from his chest and looked out the back window. Small snowflakes fell fluttered down and stuck to the glass. I smiled at how beautiful the moonlit trees looked with glistening snow son them. I looked at Klaus as he smiled at me, his eyes begging me to be with him forever.

Klaus's POV:
She was magnificent. Her hair falling perfectly in place on her forehead. I wanted nothing zaidi than to kiss her. If I could, I would marry her.

Hunter's POV:
He held me close to him. I felt salama in his strong arms. I knew he wasn't asleep yet so I asked, "Are wewe going to tell me that story wewe talked about earlier?" Klaus came close to my ear and kissed my neck, "Anything for you, love. I was terrified that the plague would reach my family, so we traveled here to Connecticut. kwa the time we got here, everyone was sick already. My family, I mean my parents, were taken into this building where we just were. They tested us separately to see if we were infected yet, and my parent's test came back positive. They dragged them out to a field, and shot them both down as I screamed running to the only thing I have ever known. The survivors thought I might be infected as well, so they shot me in the stomach and left me in the field. Little did they know that only five dakika later, a man found me. He took me to a cabin, kibanda and somehow saved me. When I woke up, he was lying on the floor being ripped apart kwa zaidi than ten zombies. He mouthed me to run so I did, even though I was in a great amount of pain. I escaped e and went back to the place where they tested us for the infection. I stayed there for about three weeks until I heard zombies outside attacking someone, and a gun being shot. I walked outside, nervous of course, but I heard someone say help. I knew that I could be just like that old man that saved me, so I helped the prettiest girl I have ever seen." Klaus finishes up his story with a sigh and looked over at me. I leaned up to him and pushed my forehead onto his, just like in the salama house. His breathing slowed and he started to doze. I slowly put my hand on his head and leaned it onto the crook of my neck so when I laid down, he was lying practically on juu of me. He smiled and pushed me into the back of the kitanda as he fit himself on the very edge of the seat. He flipped towards me with his eyes closed. I closed my eyes as well and drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
I woke up on the floor with the truck moving. "What the-?" I alisema as Klaus interrupted me. "You fell on the floor and when I tried to pick wewe up wewe mumbled Klaus I upendo wewe so I got nervous and left wewe there." I blushed hardly as he smirked and spoke more, "Guess what, love? We're almost to Signal Hill." I smiled and climbed into the passenger seat. Klaus slammed on the brake as a deer jumped out in front of us. Thankfully, it stopped in time and we both had our kiti, kiti cha belts on. The deer looked over at us and screamed as a zombie literally came out of nowhere. Klaus hit the gas and we went forward. The deer bounded away and the zombie slammed against the windshield. I gasped as we stopped again as a large horde of zombies crawled in front of us. They each began climbing on athe car and trying to smash their own way in. I screamed and Klaus held me, "If this is it, if we die right here. I just want to know that from the first sekunde I saw you, I loved you. I wanted wewe to be with me forever and have children and just be happy," Klaus shockingly spoke. I looked at him and shook my head, "We are going to be fine, I promise." I squirmed out of his iron grip and thrusted open the door. I grabbed a small hand gun as Klaus went to grab my arm. I turned around and saw the horde of bleeding, distorted zombies pushing their way towards me. I shot a few down as one came straight up to my face. His mouth hung open and his hand roughly grabbed me. I was about to die.

Klaus's POV:
I wasn't about to watch her get ripped apart, so I ran out of the car. I tackled the zombie to the ground. Hunter screamed as it latched onto my shoulder. I felt its teeth grind against my bone, creating a burning sensation. I lifted my whole body up and screamed loudly. Hunter leaped onto the zombie as it released me. A loud gun shot rang through the air and a man came walking through the horde of 20 zombies, killing them as he made his way to us. Stabbing the final one with a knife, he reached his hand out to me, "I'm Scott, nice to meet you. Now get up before zaidi come and I'll take wewe and your girlfriends to Signal Hill."

Hunter's POV:
"Oh, he's not my-" I protested, but was interrupted. "Like I care? Just follow me and leave your car!" Scott yelled. I nodded and went to grab Klaus's hand. He put his arm around my shoulder and limped as we walked to what hopefully was our salvation.
When we finally arrived we were let in a large sealed gate with men standing over us with what seemed like large machine guns. Scott led us to a small apartment that we could stay in for the night. "Tomorrow there is suppose to be a hurricane, be prepared. Hope wewe two have a nice night," Scott alisema as he closed the door after tending to Klaus's wound. I looked over at Klaus as he laid on the kitanda looking angry, " wewe could've been killed! Why would wewe try and save me?" I shot him a look, "Because I wasn't going go watch wewe die!" Klaus sat up and walked towards me, " But wewe could've died!" I shrugged, "What would've it have mattered!?" Klaus's eyes flashed with rage, "What would it have mattered? This is your life! It became part of me now! wewe are now part of my story!" I asked confused, "What story?" Klaus looked down, "My story, my life I mean. I can't loose you, Hunter!" I knew he would be upset if I died, I didn't know he cared this much. "Why do wewe even care?" I asked. Klaus screamed in reply, " I care because I upendo you!" I shook, it was different thinking I upendo wewe than actually saying, au screaming it out loud. The way Klaus looked at me at that moment was a mix between pure embarrassment as well as compassion. How do wewe even reply to something like that? I felt so nervous that I felt a lump in my throat, then a hiccup. Klaus's face lit up and he started to laugh. "That would happen. But, wewe do have the cutest hiccup I've ever seen, Love" Klaus chuckled. I hiccuped again and bounced up in the chair. The howling of the harsh wind caught my attention. "What about that storm tomorrow?" Klaus shrugged, "If we can survive a horde of zombies I think we can survive a storm, sweetheart." I nodded as Klaus wrapped his arms around me protectively. "You're beautiful," Klaus whispered in my ear. I smirked, my face becoming hot. I kissed his cheek quickly and settled down on the bed. He lied down inayofuata to me, putting his head on my shoulder. I wanted to do nothing zaidi than to turn around and kiss him. But I knew I couldn't. All I could do now is sleep, so that's what I did. I dreamed of me and Klaus, together forever.
