How did wewe picture Peeta in your mind before Josh was cast as Peeta in the movie?

In the book it talks about Peeta being a strong-built guy with curly (yes, CURLY) blonde hair and blue eyes.

But, even before Joshy was cast as Peeta, I just couldn't picture him with curly hair. peeta, in my mind, was always a big guy. Not chubby, but all muscle. Not too much, though. Not like a pro wrestler. Like regular strong. He had blonde, blonde hair, buz cut, and big, piercing blue eyes that could captivate your soul. He was the most handsom guy you'd ever see. He was perfect.

i read the book 2 days before the film came out so my Peeta description was slightly different from Josh. My Peeta had shorter hair and didn't have a baby face like Josh. He also had a deeper voice and was huskier.

Katniss has to stand on her tippy-toes to kiss him on the cheek. Honestly, I can't even picture Josh as Peeta because he just doesn't look like him to me. And I also saw him with really sweet blue eyes. I wish they had made Josh wear contacts. I don’t know if I saw him as being “super hot”, I thought that fit Gale more, but I saw him as being really cute and sweet looking. zaidi like Alexander Ludwig sorta before he put on 40 pounds of muscle for Cato.
