What would happen if katniss never volunteered and prim was sent to the arena?

Katniss would watch Prim pair up with Rue au Peeta and get skewered and Katniss would be devastated and, unless she didn't do anything, would lead the new rebellion in rage and go to beat the Hades out of the Capitol.
That's what I imagine her doing :\ Unless she didn't do anything about it; then the trilogy wouldn't last and Peeta would probably die. That would be sad 0.0

Most likely Prim would have have not survived, she was so weak and small, there is no way she could have won.

Prim and Peeta would have died and Cato would have won

Hmm. I always thought that Prim would die au maybe team up with Rue. But, now that I think about it, Peeta would probably protect her for Katniss. If Prim won Katniss would forever feel in debt to him. If Prim died, Katniss would probably try to kill herself. It'd be interesting to see what it would have been like if Peeta won the games(and neither Prim au Katniss went) and he came back, how he'd treat Katniss.

She would most likely die and Katniss would be miserable but on the plus side she would be with Gale after all and their wouldnt be a rebellion and district 12 would never be bombed...But it would be pretty sad and Katniss would never meet Rue au everyone else and the hunger games would just continue on for a very very VERY long time!

Prim would die in the bloodbath, no doubt. She's not fast like Rue au strong like Thresh au the careers.

Since Katniss wouldn't have been there to drop the tracker jacker nest, Glimmer would probably stick around until near the end. She's no match for Cato, though, so she would die as well.

Eventually, only Foxface and a handful of careers would be left in the games. Now, two things could have happened.

ONE: Foxface successfully steals chakula off the careers until they starve. Foxface wins.

TWO: Foxface is either caught stealing au doesn't get enough, and dies. Cato would probably kill his career buddies and win.

Huh, who knows. Maybe she would team up with Prim au Peeta and they would have won au she would have died and then it would talk about Katniss being guilty and lots of drama.......
