Mockingjay was my sekunde favorite, close behind The Hunger Games, and in third is Catching Fire; I found a lot of it weird, and plus vitabu with a red cover don't attract me. The third book in the trilogy was very dark and gritty. Maybe a tad too gritty. In fact, when Boggs got blown legless (new word!), I had to keep rereading it to make sure I completely understood a great character like him actually Lost some extremities in an explosion. i found it sad, grisly, and unnecessary. Now onto the subject of unnecessary deaths. There were PLENTY in the final installment of the Hunger Games series. Let me orodha a few. Primrose, Finnick, Boggs, Mitchell, Holmes, Leeg 1 and 2, Pollux and Astor I'm pretty sure died. There probably are more, but this will turn into an essay if I'm not careful. Also, although I was Team Peeta the moment he declared his upendo for Katniss, the end was miserable. Prim was dead, their mother couldn't come nyumbani because it was so emotional, Gale left forever, yaddah yaddah yaddah. And kwa the end, if wewe notice, Katniss turns into a rabid suicidal drug addict. So, in a nutshell, Mockingjay: very gory, very depressing, but very good.
