I need help.

So my mama is kinda really against Hunger Games and what its about (people killing people). She hasn't read the books, but she refuses to let me read um. So like a good child I am seeking ideas to onyesha her it isn't so bad. I really want to read it, I just need to convince her it's not a bad book. suggestions?
