But peeta was always trying to protect Katniss, and he loved her so much, i mean he remembered when he first saw her, and how she wore a red dress, and when she sang the birds stopped to listen. He loved her in a way gale couldn't. Peeta has such a sweet nature and he's romantic, which in my opinion makes him a better person.
