CJ and William Vosseler

On October 9, 1986, three-year-old CJ and two-year-old William Vosseler were abducted by their father, Charles Vosseler Jr. from Rochester, New Hampshire.

Charles told the boys' mother, Ruth Parker that he was taking them out of the state for the weekend to visit relatives.

When they failed to return, Ruth went to the real estate office that Charles worked at and discovered that he had shut down the office and let all his employees go. He took Charles Jr. and William's pictures, address books and credit cards. He also emptied out the family bank accounts and auctioned off a lot of things that the Vosselers had in storage.

Ruth learned that Charles had been planning to abduct CJ and William for a long time. He removed Ruth's name from their joint checking accounts and stopped the automatic payments to her car.

In 1987, a woman from Stillwell, Oklahoma that Charles Sr. was seeing recognized the boys' pictures on a missing child poster and called a hotline about it. Charles Sr. was using the alias, Dr. Charles Wilson.

By the time the police could arrest him, he had burned his house, his car and other possessions before fleeing. Charles Sr. was known to have been in Oklahoma in December of 2006, but the whereabouts of him and his sons are currently unknown. Charles Martin is considered to be armed and dangerous, and caution is advised when approaching him or his children.
