Monica and Victor Arellano

Seven-year-old Monica Arellano and her two-year-old brother, Victor were last seen at their home in Yuba City, California on July 26, 1999.

The kids' mother, Blanca was found murdered in the apartment; she had been stabbed multiple times with a butcher knife which was left with her body. The prime suspect in Blanca's murder is her estranged husband, Francisco, who disappeared after the murder. It is believed that Francisco took Monica & Victor, and ran off.

Prior to the kids' disappearance, Francisco served 60 days in jail for spousal abuse. Blanca got a restraining order against him, claiming he abused her, threatened to kill her and take her kids to Mexico.

As of 2023, Monica and Victor have not been located.
