Jewel Mahavia Strong

Three-year-old Jewel Strong was last seen on May 28, 2006 in Panama City Beach, Florida. She was sitting on a raft wit an adult cousin in the waters of Jetty Beach at Saint Andrews State Park when the raft tipped over.

The cousin was rescued from the water, but there was no sign of Jewel. Authorities believe that Jewel drowned and was swept out to sea; however, her family believes she is still alive and was abducted.

Jewel's relatives believe that they saw Jewel on video surveillance cameras three times: one from a J.C. Penney store in Jacksonville, Florida; one from a Golden Corral restaurant in Jacksonville; and one from a Walgreens store in Orlando, Florida.

In September of 2007, the authorities said that the girl in the video at Walgreens' in Orlando was not Jewel, stating that the girl's family produced a birth certificate to prove she was their child. 

As of 2023, Jewel has not been located. Her family believes she is still alive and was in the videos at J.C. Penney and Golden Corral although the police believe that she drowned.
