Andrea Durham

Thirteen-year-old Andrea Durham was last seen on February 1, 1990 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Background
Andrea attended Prior Middle School in 1990 and was a good student. Prior to her disappearance, she had gotten in trouble for acting as a lookout for other children while they stole money out of cars in the parking lot of a restaurant. She was sentenced to community service for her role in the incident which her older sister said she wasn't worried about. Andrea was also unhappy about changing schools and moving into a new apartment.

Disappearance
On February 1, 1990, Andrea was last seen at her family's apartment. Her mom and older sister left the apartment, asking Andrea to vacuum while they were gone. When they returned two hours later, they found the apartment unlocked with no signs of forced entry. 

Andrea's clothing, purse, makeup and other personal belongings were discovered undisturbed, and the vacuum cleaner was standing upright in the living room. Initially, the police thought that Andrea ran away from home, but now they suspect otherwise seeing as how Andrea had never run away from home before.

The police have also investigated the possibility that Andrea's disappearance was connected to two men, Mark Riebe and William Alex Wells III, who are suspects in the kidnapping and murder of a woman from Santa Rosa, Florida in 1989; however, they haven't been able to find any links between Andrea and the two men.

Andrea's case is classified as an endangered missing person.
