I bought the sims 2 seasons today and I tried to install it to my computer and it didnt work and it says I need to install another sims 2 game is that true?

Do wewe have the original Sims 2 expansion pack? If not, then wewe need to get that and install it first before wewe can install Seasons.

It says at the back of the box it requires the sims 2, the sims 2 special dvd edition, the holiday edition au the deluxe. wewe can choose either one. The main idea is wewe have to have the sims 2 base game to install any expansion pack. Like i said, wewe can choose either the deluxe au the holiday because each one includes the sims 2 base game. If wewe already have the sims 2 installed, there's no need for the deluxe au the holiday to install the seasons expansion pack. I'm really hoping wewe can have the seasons installed because for me it is the best EP there is.
